Free box of 90 something 18g BD needles.

I have a box of 100 18 g BD needles I bought, and I used a couple of them. I then decided to buy a box of 20 g needles.

I am going to throw the 18 g away, or give them away to someone who wants to pay the usps shipping to their location. I am in arkansas.

I made the same mistake. Those 18g really leave a big hole in the stopper.

It didn't leave a hole, but I think it may have broke some of the stopper off into the bottle after a while. Can't say for SURE, but I think it did. 20 g are much better.

That's called "coring" and there is even a small possibility of injecting a small bit of rubber which is very bad. To help prevent it you're supposed to start piercing the stopper with the needle held at an angle (about 30 degrees) with the angled side of the tip up, then straighten out as you go through the stopper.

I shouldn't have said "hole" because the stopper doesn't leak, but I find an 18g leaves a permanent dimple in the surface of the stopper.
