I'm stuck doing rediculious cardio training for baseball but i have been busting my butt to gain weight all summer. i put about 20 lbs on this summer and I've lost about 15 lbs which is the opposite of what I've been trying to do. I've been trying to maintain a 7,000 cal. diet with high proteins and carbs. but the cardio is making it impossible to put weight on. Anyone have any suggestions as to what i should do to put the weight back?

the recipe is simple, High Carbs, High protien, Moderate Fats. dependant upon your metabolism. if your eating 7000Cals then you shouldnt run as much, simple. do less cardio

calories consumed - Calories burnt = plus equals weight gain minus equals weight loss.

at 7000 cals you should be in no way losing that much weight even if you're running for a couple hours a day constantly. are you SURE you're taking in 7000 cals?

what do you weigh now?

list out your diet, post up in the diet section. someone will be able to help you.

as stated above (cals in - cals out = change in weight) positive will be a gain and negative will be a loss. theres no other way around it. unless you have a tapeworm.
