LGD-4033 is one of the most exciting research compounds to have burst onto the scene in a long time. LGD-4033 belongs to a category of compounds known as SARMs.

SARMs stands for selective androgen receptor modulators. These compounds selectively bind to androgen receptors. The benefit to selective binding in our research as opposed to a normal androgens non-descript binding is that you can observe many of the desirable effects of an androgen, minus many of the undesirable ones. For example you may observe and increase in lean body mass along with a reduction in fat stores without observing the full estrogenic effects that a normal androgen might exhibit. Also traditional androgens tend to have an adverse effect on research subject's lipid profiles as well as their liver values. These effects are not only greatly reduced with a SARM but often not even observed at all!

One of the things that makes LGD-4033 so exciting as a SARM is its potency. LGD-4033 exerts the positive, often desired effects of some of the most potent oral androgens available minus many of the negative ones. While some HPTA suppression might be observed, it is observed at a much lesser level when compared to traditional androgens exhibiting the strength of LGD-4033. Other effects such as elevated liver enzymes and elevated bad cholesterol may not be observed at all while administering LGD-4033 to your research subject.
