I can't seem to find much info on this, and am hearing contradicting stuff. Some are saying you can just tell your GP you are going to start a cycle and you can get the tests done on the NHS. Some people say the same thing can be arranged through the needle exchange, but there is scant info on the net, even about merely FINDING a needle exchange, let-alone what other services they may offer.
I'm sure you can get them done privately, but I have zero experience of private healthcare in this country. How many private organizations ARE there? Who is best? Where do they run the tests? I mean do they all have their own premises, or do they, like, rent space in an NHS hospital? Is it done by mail? Like, can I just get a nurse at my GP's to draw blood, then stick it in the mail?
There seems to be very little info, which, I guess leads me to believe it's so simple that I over-thought it
