Damn i couldnt believe what i was hearing on "cold pizza" and fox news this AM about bonds and steroids..The 2 panelists on espn had absolutely zero knowledge of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) yet the one seemed t think he was an expert because he knew Lyle Alzado..when they ran a quick segment on the risks of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) on commented that breasts will grow and that they are "lethal" implying you may die?? i just happen to switch back to fox news and the same sort of story was running about how if you take Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) you will grow breasts? the other anchor seemed to imply that they grow when you come off of AAS..These people have absolutely no knowledge of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) but its sad that people are in the same boat as they but will hear these myths and take them as absolute truths..I think we are digressing here with regards to AAS..Instead of someone looking for the truth with scientific evidence "so called experts" just want to dismiss Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) has something as bad as rec drugs..comments?

i was watching the same thing, especially when Woody Paige tried to correlate Ken Camineti's death with AAS, okay, he ODed on cocaine...

Media is always quick to scare and simply rely too much on the whole "shock factor". Your right it's sad to see people who have NO business telling anyone about Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) spouting off like they know more.

I think if the media went out and stated the facts tha when used safely and correctly Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) can be beneficial so it's easier to lump them into this group and throw out a bunch of wack examples like Lyle Alzado and Ken Camminniti but what thye fail to realize as do so many is that the steroids didn;t kill them, mixing the rec drugs with them did.

i dont wanna start a rumor but this is what i was told by a very credible source who was a professional wrestler in the eighties (one of the killer bees) and a close friend of lyle's and lyle's friends.

according to this guy, whom is now deceased, lyle had a thing for college boys. lyle got into a little trouble and made a deal with the feds. he was to speak against Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) and say that Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) was the cause of his brain cancer. i was told that just before lyle's death who moved out of state to (i cant remember what state) because in this state his cause of death could not be disclosed.

RIP Brian

I hate all of the stupid little rumors you hear about taking the sauce and how bad it is for you and how it can kill you....I told one of my best friends I was on the plan after he was def sure i was because of how much i had grown in the past couple of months...he looked at me and told me how unhealthy and bad for me it was and i laughed in his face and started stating positive feed back and told him the truths from what i have read....three weeks later guess what hes doing...hes on the sauce!!!...I love it..

I remember reading from a respected member of the boards who is openly gay, that lyle was known to be gay in his circles. I beleive the board member was living in Cali when he said he heard about lyle.

I just read on my AndroGel prescribing insert (taking it for HRT) that there has been only ONE SINGLE case of testosterone overdose recorded. A patient over-injected massive amounts of Testosterone Enanthate, brought his blood levels past 11,400 ng/dL, and then had a stroke and died.
The biggest concern with long-term use is Prostate enlargement and possibly prostate cancer, but there is still little proof or research on overall effects of long-term, high-concentration hormone replacement in individuals.

The protocol for AID's patients now is to receive testosterone injects and Anadrol-50 on a regular basis (to fight the wasting associated with the HIV virus). Lyle is the only Bro (Sis?) that I have ever heard of that died from the "evil steroids that plaque our society, destroy our children, ruin our sports, and corrupt the society as a whole". I can actually entertain the theory that Lyle died of other causes after this thread, and given the fact that there are no known cases of Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) deaths (other than the suicides by younger users whose parents and the media claim were caused by Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) usage ).

yep he almost sort of dismissed the coke as the reason and implied it was "more" the steroids...
