Give me Bent Row Tips

I am an intermediate trainer and low level competitor. I have bent rows in my program and have a while. I've noticed in posing my back is weak. I feel t-bars are good. I dead plenty with good form. But I think the lack of mass back there (esp middle thickness) is due to chronic problems in my bent row form. So here's the deal: Give me tips, ideas, things to think about, etc to perfect my bent row form (standard grip).

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps you are leaning over too far. If your torso is parallel to the ground then this is the case. I have only done them at 45 degrees and my back is quite thick.

yeh yates' style rows could help if not doing so already. Or perhaps try grabbing the weight by the lips of the plates on the bar, but youll probably find this hits delts more than middle back but worth a try. Other than supinated/pronated grip variations I think thats about it.

Here is a clip showing approximate angle I use:

You notice I put my left leg out in front, I have been doing this for some time for stability and have been meaning to try doing it without (and using some bend in the knees).

try different grips (close and wide) they hit the back differently i recommend doing dorian rows i have done nothing but them and my back is my strong point... its almost more about angle and grip than the movemment
