glute injection, tingling sensation all the way to my calfs

Currently injecting each glute once a week with 1.5ccs of test cyp, for the past 3 injetions im experiencing a feeling like tingling all the way down to my calfs, my knee gets sore, my quads twich and its just uncomfortable (all this happens right after the injection and goes away by the next day) , i been injecting .5cc in my glutes same spot for the past 6 months without this problem. So anyone know what it could cause this ? or experienced something similar ?
PIP is not bad but this sensation really bothers me.

I think the right word in English would be a leg cramp all the way to my calf, feet.

U might be nicking a nerve and u should rotate injection sites 6 mths of glute injections there has to be a lot of scare tissue build up. It does sound like ur hitting a nerve ending try a different site brother

A nerve that would make sense, so just been super unlucky I nicked it 3 times in a row? Other than nicking a nerve any other reason ?
Yes i know i need more injection sites im gonna start pinning quads but I'd like to start messing with them when I'm back to .5ccs I don't want to pin 1.5c on Virgin muscle

How would I know if I have lots of scar tissue? What are the symptoms or how does it feel?

You're likely just pinning in the wrong area. Odds of nicking a nerve in the glutes is actually quite low. Are you pinning in the outside upper edge of the glute?

Scar tissue takes awhile to build, and if close enough to the surface, it will feel like a hard lump. It's like trying to push a pin through cork or stale cheese if you keep trying to pin in the same spot.

Yes upper outside of the glute, like I been doing the past 6 months, that's why I find this sensation strange.

This ^^^^^^^
Nothing to worry about if no infection or severe pain issues. Just move over a little and give that spot a rest. Glutes are about the safes place to inject

Both legs gave me this sensation last 3 pins, I'm doing nothing different, same spot as I have been pinning the last 48 Injections I had the last 6 months.

Well is nothing serious it just goes away the next day. Maybe I just missed the spot last 3 times in a row.

Maybe my glutes are just screaming for a break.

Ok, it really had nothing to do with what's going on I was just curious. You really don't need anything longer than 1". I used to use a 1" and 1/2" x 22 gauge for my 2cc plus injections in my glutes. Even with that I never had a problem in my glute area. Just some PIP as one would expect.

As soon as I ran out of this 23g I'm gonna switch to 25gs yes I'm sure I could get away with 1 inch but I like to make sure is in the muscle.

Probably just like it was mentioned I pinned in the wrong area(weird). Looking forward for my next pin.
Thank you all for your responses.

try a different depth like mike suggested.. if your fairly lean 1.5" is over kill,, I can get by pinning quads with a slin pin. If the area you've been pinning is good, again, just try to vary the depth and see if that helps

Hmm didn't think about it, yes I'm very lean, and getting leaner, I go all the way in to the point I don't even see the needle. Will definitely not gonna do so deep next time.

Yup, screaming at you loud and clear lol. If a depot doesn't have time to clear (the oil "puddle" you leave inside the muscle belly), it will put pressure on surrounding tissues, which often can include nerves. I'm just surprised that you're pinning in the proper location and still hitting a nerve long enough to reach your calves. I'm amazed you're not getting some nasty PIP from that, as the nerves often will cause inflammation at the site, which can lead to some lasting pain for a few days.

Quads/delts/pecs are all quite easy. I'd hit those up and rotate them in. :)

I inject in my ventroglute, when you hit a nerve you know right away when the needle goes in ? , because I don't feel anything until I'm done, then I feel it like a cramp few minutes later 5 maybe 10 minutes, PIP is not bad just the usual nothing crazy.

What you say about the oil puddle in the muscle and putting pressure on surrounding tissue makes a lot of sense.

I'll try different depth on my next pin if problem persist ill give my glutes a break man up and pin my quads.

Ventroglute and the "glutes" are two different locations. The ventroglutes are an extension of your hips, and if you're getting that tingling sensation there, I'd be worried that you're actually nicking your illiotibial band, which REALLY does not like that. You would most certainly know if you're hitting that band or a nerve as there will be an involuntary "jerk" to your muscle with lightning like sensations in the muscle, often spreading in many directions.

A muscle cramp is something totally different, and is only similar in that your muscle contracts involuntarily. If it's an actual cramp, you may simply be pinning in an awkward position that forces you to lean or bend - causing a cramp. Kind of like when I try to pin my lats or glutes, my lats will cramp up as I'm trying to twist and remain still. I just can't do it, so I pin other locations.

Edit: To be clear about locations:

Yes I pin there where it says gluteus medius ventral gluteal site, no I never had any involuntary jerk while pinning, just feels normal like butter Goin in and out.

Maybe I'm moving too much because I have to inject 1.5ccs and I take like 1 min to get it all in, some minimal hand shacking is unavoidable for me, could be that ?

With .5ccs I go in push the oil I'm out in a few seconds, but after doing that the first time I injected 1.5ccs I learned it was a no no lol so I take my time to inject it slowly and hand can't stay still.

Maybe I'll tell my wife to pin me next time, she used to pin me the first few times on trt until I lost fear and started to do it myself, she's very good .

So to summarise next pin I'll tell my wife to do it so there's no shacking, I won't pin so deep, and make sure I'm in the right place. If I still have this cramp sensation then my only guess after all you guys tell me is that my glutes need a rest, and I'll pin my damn quads

after pinning glutes for a long time on TRT, it started getting painful. When starting years back glutes was the only place I could think to pin and it was easy as can be. Now, they are my least favorite place to go to,, much rather pin quads, delts, and lats then glutes..

so just move on to another site,, after you 'de-virginize' the new site, you'll be glad you did and you'll give pining your glutes a rest

Shaking hands usually give PIP for a day or two. I've had plenty of cycles where I'm stuffing 5-6cc of oil in a site, so it totally get the time thing. ;)

It's actually the one thing I look forward to when I go back to TRT lol.

I would just swap sites and learn to rotate them. Your body is telling you to stop pinning there for awhile, I'd listen. ;)

Well did my injection today same site, smooth as butter, this time I didn't go all the way in, probably went only 1 inch in , guess what no weird sensation anymore, and the usual expected PIP, non existan.
My only guess is I was pinning too deep.
I forgot what glute I injected, jk :p

Next purchase, 1 inch 25g needles. 1 1/2 inch are over kill
