Good foreign tourist/gear destination

I was thinking about doing my dream cycle. For it to be a dream, I have to not get burned, get good quality gear, and plan it perfectly. Now, I could try to hookup up with this source and that source, and while thats a good option, I would prefer to buy a plane ticket to a friendly country, go over there for a long weekend and get what I need, mail it from over there and Im done. Whats a good country for this purpose? Im guessing Europe somewhere? Any ideas?

It doesn't mean it will get to you just because you are able to purchase it! Your package will still have to go through customs, and if you are not an expert at ways to get the pack through, more than likely it will be seized. I'm not saying that 100% it will, but there is a very good chance. Plane ticket, your gear and all the expenses---GOODBYE!!!!

It does not matter if you can get it in a pharmacy. The problem is getting it back. You can take a chance and smuggle it with the rest of your things or mail it back to your home, but either way it is alot of expenses to go through for a very high risk! I wouldn't do it, that's just my opinion on the matter!

ok. SaintFinaject if you have the possibility to take the bus so do taht. just put the gear in a backpack without name then you wont get caught by customs if they find it. If you can go by car thats even better.

The best place for any single man to holiday in is Thailand.

You could of course send your gear to a po box place in the uk and pay them to reship it to the XXX.

Just live on the boarder of Mexico... drive across each day you need to shoot up...

Either that or walk across your orals... or enough for each week... that is usually pretty safe... but if you don't live in SoCal... that option kinda sucks... you could take a vacation to another country for like 12 weeks!
