a buddy gave me 60 tabs of cytomel t3 25 mcg, how should i cycle them? ive never used any of this before, tia any advise will help

t3 is catabolic and its very easy to lose muscle useing it when you are not doing a cycle.1 tab a day at most unless you are on cycle. do not expect miraculous results.
 
Start with 25mcg then quickly ramp up.
Day 1: 25mcg
Day 2: 50mcg
Day 3: 75mcg
Day 4: 100mcg
Day 5: 125mcg
Day 6: 150mcg
If you ramp up to that much then I would only run it for 4-6 weeks then ramp down the same way you ramped up.

However if you keep it at 25mcg ed then you can run it for much longer. I've read where people did it for 40 weeks.
 
For the record, I hate T3.

I took ONE DOSE of a 25mcg tab and lost 5 lbs of lean muscle the very first day!!!

I believe this should be used for those overweight looking to lose careless pounds. If you're lean and want to hold on to your hard earned muscle, steer clear... VERY CLEAR! :nono:

Also, that may be why you get it for free!

T3 has its place in bodybuilding. I think saying its worthless is senseless. However unless you're an elite bodybuilder prepping for a show I would stay away. If you choose to use it anyway, make sure you research all of its sides, understand the rebound and how to minimize its effects. There's a lot you need to know before committing to a t3 cycle. And one more thing... 60 - 25 mcg tabs won't do a thing for you.
 
i guess thats why it was free....so 60 of them wont do anything? id like to see somthing from it...im not really ripped up or anything and i have a lot of fat to loose

So this is great if your talking about Clen. No need for these high doses. That cycle could hurt someone.

Use the search. 1 note the old school of thought was to ramp down. We have sense learned that ramping down just prolongs the recovery of natural thyroid function. Are you sure you want to take T3
 
it was free so if i take it and nothing happens im really not losing much, but if i have to take a huge risk to see shitty results it's common sense not to do it....

If you have a lot of weight to lose then...

Take one tab M-F and see how you like it. I wouldn't run much higher than that. 50mcg at the most if you're 200lbs+ IMHO.

Actually,there is something to lose or gain, as the case may very well be if you dont dose your t3 right or taper down to quickly. Taking t3 is going to shut down your thyroid. Without a proper taper your rebound will be ugly. I personaly have not seen results from 50 mcg a day. Most of the guys I train with, past and present, ramp up to a minimum of 100mcg/ed (most do 150mcg) and taper down slowly to 12.5mcg/ed. I've heard of guys using low dose t3 for increased nutritional uptake but I haven't seen any published medical research that supports that.
Just my thoughts.

Tapering is a misnomer. Tapering up is fine, because you fine what you can stand with sides effects.

I've done 150mcg ed without any taper and didn't have any problems. And I'm not the only one who does it this way.

Bro,if I were you, I would error on the side of caution. T3 isn't stuff you should screw around with. There is a lot of bad advise out there and people doing stupid stuff. Refer to some medical references on T3 or anything you're going to put in your body for that matter. Take that knowledge and apply it the advise you get from boards like this. The problem with taking advise from me or anyone else that hides behind the anonymity of the internet is that I could be some psycho trying to send you to the morgue or just stating stupid shit that's been repeated over and over again.

uhmmm people like that get banned on this board.

All you have to do is look at how many posts somebody has and there rep power to see if they know what they are talking about.

T3 is fine, you will recover natural production, it does eat anything it can get its hands on including muscle. If it was so bad you wouldn't see if being sold at your favorite place of business.
