got my test levels checked

they were

512 ng/dL (348-1197)

I've been under a lot of stress lately and been battling a little depression, could that have affected my T levels dramatically? like by 100ng/dL? lol

Although 512 is still within range i feel like that's really low for someone who is 21.

What does your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) get you guys up to?

And...i don't suppose i can be eligible for trt?

Yes you are low for your age but you will be very hard pressed to find a doctor to give you testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) treatment at both that level and at your age.

What are your stats?
age
height
weight
BF%
etc?

Not getting enough quality sleep have have an impact on your TT levels as well as not eating a proper diet. Have you ever run a cycle?

maybe 13%

my friend convinced me to start a test p cycle so I was doing 160mg EOD for 2 weeks, then i found this forum so i stopped.

I waited a week then did clomid 50/75/75/75

8weeks since ending pct

would testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) websites, like 'increase my T' be more likely to prescribe me at my levels?

Did you do blood work before you started your test only cycle, I am not sure if you recovered or not. You could always reach out to IMT and see but I don't think your levels are low enough, besides testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a life long commitment, you are very young and have many years ahead of you.

unfortunately i did not have pre cycle bloods

and i get what you are saying, but honestly I am not sure if I would mind being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the rest of my life if it'll make me feel a lot better.

Are you on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? what does it get your test levels up to?

is it possible to get your levels up to 1000 on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? or do docs just go for acceptable and not optimal?

Would it be beneficial to try another restart with nolva and torem? (clomid gave me nasty emotional sides)

Yes, stress and depression can affect your TT levels. If you aren't getting good sleep and eating well that affects levels too. Sounds like there are a lot of things you can do to naturally improve your TT levels.

Your TT levels are pretty close to the normal range for someone your age. And as Spunkey pointed out, you may still be recovering from your two-week cycle. Here is a chart that shows normal ranges by age. You still have about another 20 years to go before you get to your peak testosterone levels.

You are not a candidate for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) in my opinion. You would be hard pressed to find a doc who would prescribe testosterone for you and insurance more definitely would not cover the cost.

I would not go on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) if my natty T was in the 500's. You are setting yourself up for a lifetime of great expense and inconvenience.

So what should I do?

just wait? try a restart?

Can trying a restart hurt my current natty T levels?

I really would like it if I can get my test higher

How do you know your test levels are lower now than before you started your "cycle?" What is indicating that to you? And with all the stress and depression you said you are dealing with, are you sure you can really tell? I would focus on dealing with those problems in your life first.

Sure, you can try PCT again. It might help. Problem is, you didn't get labs before you started your cycle to establish your normal baseline. I guess the downside is that you are just wasting some money. There are potential health risks with clomid but understanding is they are very rare.

Why do you feel like you need higher-than-normal testosterone levels? You can get plenty of muscle growth in the 500-600 range. Look around you. Guys everywhere are doing it.

If you want to get your TT levels higher, you need to post questions in the AAS section of the forum -- but wait until you are 25 and done growing.

You're right i have no idea what my levels were before

I guess because i feel if I get higher test levels it might make me feel better and help me get over this depressive slump im in

I hear ya, that's why i stopped so soon

Testosterone is not a cure for depression. Best things you can do are: start seeing a psychologist, exercise, take medication for depression, eat well, work on getting back into a normal routine and get support from your friends and family.

Op I mean no disrespect here but it sounds like you are wanting to do testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to get the benefits of a cycle without doing a cycle. What testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) does for those of us who need it is get our level to a normal range, I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for three months, started at a TT of 64 and am now at 510. I have been hitting the gym hard for the past 2-2 1/2 months and have most certainly put on some muscle as well as dropping 30 pounds.

Good Luck!

I have been on it for 2 years, im 27 and had brain surgery, chemo and radiation in the past. If you have a cool dr he might bring to close to the high range like mine did but most dr's are just trying to replace what you are missing. So if your t levels were actually low you would see a huge benefit since they were low and now what you consider high is actually normal. You are better off with out it in less you actually need it!

Non taken - and to a certain extent you are right. Those two weeks i was on prop i honestly felt invincible, and now since i hit a serious rough patch i really am just trying to find something to help me feel better and get over it. Ive seen a therapist and within a 30min meeting classified me as moderatley-severely depressed and wanted to put me on medication, i dont want that. Ive seen friends get even more fucked up in the head from doctors just feeding them pills

Also congrats, 30 pounds in 3 months is incredible

How bout getting a sleep study done bro ?
Good indication of knowing if stress is effecting your T levels would be to measure Cortisol.
I assume you used stuff in the past ?
If you see and endo...DO NOT tell him what you feel is optimal. They hate when a patient tells them their level is low according to labs.
No "endo" will treat you anyway with those levels.

Would it be immoral to intentionally suppress yourself before having bloodwork done at the doctors in order to decrease your lab values and increase the likelihood that you'll receive TRT?

Who is to say what is immoral for a person, some would say that it is immoral to rub one off while thinking of a woman other than your wife but I would never had busted a nut when I was married if I didn't.

On a serious note, I understand the objective just not sure testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a route you should take. You are talking about a lifetime of injections, I need testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and in only a short time have grown tired of being stuck by a needle, I will continue to do so because in my case I have to have the treatment.

I get great sleep, sometimes after 7 hours i still sleep through the 3 alarms I set. I would even say I sleep too much.

Could sleeping too much be a disorder in itself?

Yeah I understand, I think I just have to wait a few more months and see if things get better. Thanks.

I was just like you, I could sleep 12 hours no problem, I have severe sleep apnea, it isn't about being able to sleep it is about getting quality sleep!

Would you dream when you slept? I get probably 3-4 different vivid dreams a night and I am not sure if this is correct but i think that means I enter REM more? which could equate to more quality sleep? But really have no idea.

Who would i go to, to get diagnosed?

Yes I dreamed, I am not a doctor but I beleive there is a difference between REM sleep (when you dream) and deep sleep when you get rest while sleeping. I went to my doctor who sent me in for a sleep study. I have had my CPAP for about two weeks now, I am still getting use to wearing a mask at night when I sleep but when I do sleep with the mask I feel 100% better the next day then when I don't use it.
