:( I hear ya bro. THAT'S exactly WHY I posted this ;)

the confusion is just as much the fdas fault as the supplement companies , lumping fiber in with carbs gives credence to the supplement companies claims that not all carbs matter in your diet/low carb diet . the low carb diet marketplace is a huge and fast growing industry , the fda needs to get off its butt and make some decisions and enforce them as far as the claims and nutritional info labels are concerned .

I am better off snarfing a Snickers bar post-workout than a Lee Labrada bar.....
LMFAO @ Lee Labrada!

It used to be legal for them to hide things like honey as non-sugar items. Label laws changed, however some companies still lied about true carb content.

The article was ok, but the 'a carb is a carb' posts were way off base. Eating a tablespoon of sugar is not the same thing as eating a cup of oatmeal.

I agree, but with respect to those attempting to remain in ketosis or stay LOW CARB..........."a carb IS a carb". ANY carb be it complex, simple, high, moderate or low glycemic.....it will throw one OUT of ketosis!

Furthermore, how about all the diabetics out there trying to stay low carb......what a crock of sh*t it is for these companies to get away with this crap
