i was looking at the german volume training by charles poulquin (cant spell is lastname) he says there supersets but then its say if your a beginner just do 10 sets of 10 reps with no supersets for a few weeks before u start supersetting is this true ?

i think 10 sets is overkill..jus maintain between 6-8 sets... 8-10 reps/set
make sure you get enough calories and sleep
