Gyno Surgery

I always had gyno as a teen but the shit got really serious, like a little bigger than a golf-ball on both sides from being a dumb ass teenager without knowledge of AI's or proper post cycle therapy (pct). I had the gyno surgery 3 years ago. I did it in may of 2010 because i played D1 football and had to be ready for camp first week of august. I had to get the enlarged gland removed as well as the lipo. I was back doing light lifting within 3 weeks, but could only do cardio on a bike for the first 7 weeks (Dr. said the bouncing motion of running would inhibit the skin from tightening and adjusting to so much mass being removed from my chest). I was back lifting heavy by week 5 though. I've had to get several injections of kenalog (eats scar tissue), on my right pec where the gyno was biggest because of alot of scar tissue build up. Im happy with the results though heres the pics:

Thanks for the info.

Yes gyno can return after surgery. I had my surgery cost covered 100% in Manitoba. I had gyno from puberty which went away and came back from running gear. I denied all steroid use, said that it is so painful that I can't sleep at night (it was painful but I exaggerated) and that it was embarrassing. Mine was only covered because of the pain. The surgeon told me the only time the cost is ever covered for aesthetic reasons is "in fat kids in highschool who are too embarrassed to go to gym class." I am also undergoing kenalog injections for scar tissue, I'm 7 months post op.

Boh,
How long did you have to get the kenalog injections before you were satisfied with the results?
I'm going for my second set of injections next week.

I just had what is hopefully my last kenalog shot in january. I still have a little tissue but its too minimal for them to inject anymore. Im very happy with the results though. I'm sure everyone is different but my scar tissue got pretty big on the right side. im guessing because of how much tissue was removed but mine required 3 series of injections total on the right side. My left side didnt build much scar tissue and didnt require any kenalog shots.

Did u run any gear during the course of your cortisone injections? I was hoping to wait until the process is over but things are taking a hell of a lot longer than I thought they would so I'm probably going to just start my cycle anyway...

If you have cycled since your surgery: what was your cycle layout? gear?ai?pct?

Yea ive ran cycles during the course of the kenalog injections, and im currently on a prop/cyp cycle now. I'm always very conscious of making sure the gyno doesnt come back so I use arimidex at 0.25-0.5mg/eod depending how much gear im running and have had no problem with the gyno coming back. As soon as i feel the nipples get a little tender i know i have to up the arimidex accordingly. Ive used many different compounds and test works great for me so i stick with it.

Im currently on:

wk 1-12: Test Cyp 750mg/wk
wk 1-5: Test Prop 100mg eod
wk 1-12: Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) @ 250 iu 2x/wk

post cycle therapy (pct): Nolva 40/40/20/20
and i slowly taper off the arimidex over the first 3 weeks of post cycle therapy (pct) to prevent estrogen rebound

I ran my past few cycles like this and have recovered very easily with Zero gyno, no nut shrinkage and kept 90% of my gains.

Thanks bro. I was thinking of running aromasin on cycle as it has no estrogen rebound

I've been wanting to try aromasin, but arimidex works so good for me i dont want to switch... I live by the old proverb, If it ain't broke don't fix it! lol

Sry I haven't been able to respond, been a bit busy, if you're looking to cover gyno surgery through Ohip or some other sort of medical, try making it either a mental issue or an issue that causes pain. When I went for my initial consultation, I told the surgeon, I feel PAIN when I eat certain fatty foods. I also told him that I feel EMBARASSED taking my short off at the beach, it's these words that kinda trick them into thinking its more than just an aesthetic issue. I told my surgeon I ran gear although it was an accident and I didn't actually know what they were (Orals). I started hitting the gear 3 weeks post op lol I have letrozole on hand but my nipples still hurt from the surgery and are quite indented so I don't think I have much to worry about for the time being, fingers crossed.
