Hair thinning nedd advise

Been on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) prescribed Test cream for about a year with an occasional 2-3 weeks breaks. Just noticed yesterday that on the top of my head area is a considerable amount of hair thinning (very noticeable). What can I take to reverse this hair thinning, also is there any treatment I can use that will enable me to continue using the Test cream. Thanks

regrowth is possible but not very frequent. the thinning and thin appearance is from two things; hairs have become very thin and some loss as well. the best and appropriate treatment to take would be finasteride 1mg daily. finasteride will usually cause a increase in shed within the first few weeks/months, but don't be alarmed, it's normal and it's a good sign ure a responder to the treatment. if u'd like u can also add a topical anti-inflammatory and anti androgen such as nizoral shampoo (2% ketokonazole). use it 3 times a week.

If you notice any side effects such as libido decreased or tired feelings, continue using the drug for another 3-4 months. These sides usually subside and go away with continued use. if they don't go away just stop the treatment. Any sides u experience with finasteride will go away once u stop - nothing permanent to worry about. These sides are very rare and according to studies only exist in less than 5% of the people taking the drug. good luck. if u want any more advise on finasteride or nizoral 2% just google them.

Not to be an asshole Dude, but you're gonna have to deal w/ it :(. There are creams and stuff that supposedly work, which you could try and see for yourself.

I've been thinning since 18. 6 years later it's gotten pretty thin. You probably already know this, but the shorter you keep your hair, the less notcieable it is.

I've learned to laugh about it. Big deal, it's only hair!! You could have plenty worse things happen to your body! Eh, maybe I'm just too optimistic. But good luck w/ it Man :)

not exactly dude, there are some pretty proven methods. none are 100% guaranteed effective, but certainly help in most cases.
