has anyone here had gyno surgery?

i've always suspected i had it, but i guess i didn't care enough. it's not even that bad and i think i've had it even before i started taking steroids. it was that fake arimidex i was sold for my first cycle that contributed to the growth, i know it. it's not obvious breast tissue, it just makes my chest look a little poofy the leaner i get.

anyway, has anyone got any idea on how to get insurance to cover at least a piece of it? it would be around $5,000 which isn't even that bad considering what you're getting, but it would be nice if insurance went 50 50 with me.

I have no experience with this but some bros should chime in at some point to help ya out. Following along

I got medication induced gyno removed. Not a bad thing. Down time, drainage tubes and limited activity. The American Veterans Administration hospital removed ping pong ball sized breast and fatty tissue.

Insurance coverage I'm not sure. The VA removed mine because they hurt otherwise it would have been a "cosmetic surgery".

The reason docs often leave part of the gland in is because if you remove the whole thing, you might end up with an inverted nipple, or what looks like a dented in nipple. If you were to go get gyno surgery, I would discuss this in detail with your surgeon.

maybe Santa knows?

I do actually, not sure how much it will help in the world of american insurance...
My best friend has NEVER touched gear in his whole life and is scheduled for his 4th gyno surgical removal next month. They've also taken ALL blood work and test under the moon and nobody can figure out why it happens.
So it definitely happens without taking gear and if you find the right doc and play dumb and reference the natural occurrence thing coupled with chronic pain from it, shit like you can't sleep, harder to work etc etc.

The only noteworthy thing he's said is that it was night and day difference between going to a plastic surgery specialist at a plastic clinic and going to a general surgeon at hospital. The former barley left a scar and had 1/3rd of the recovery time...
Unless life threatening, its can be considered beauty treatment here and thus is not covered by either insurance or our social system. All depends on the handler you get.
He paid out of pocket once, cost him about 2750 usd and now he demands to only go to plastic clinic and he was approved for it this time, so now it's free.

Hope that helps bro :)

Yes, even in my country it is.
My friend is about to do his 4th gyno removal and our price is about 3500-4000k usd.
If you're lucky though, you can get it for free, all depends on the physician, my friend now always gets its free AND gets to go to actual plastic surgery clinic.
He's mentioned several times the recovery, pain and scaring is night and day compared. The plastic surgeon he barley notices, the general physician had him sick for well over 3 months.

Someone told me that the entire gland has to be removed not just the fatty buildup to prevent reoccurrence .

My surgeon said this and something about it being an actual gland and possible future issues, nipple actually dieing and other things. I had ping pong ball sized amounts removed as well as some liposuction for the amount of fat build up.
