Has anyone tried a Linux OS?

Hey guys,

I just got a new laptop and installed Linux on it. I gotta say that I love the thing, has anyone else had any luck with Linux on a laptop or computer?

And what flavor do you prefer?

Linux boggles my mind. I prefer simple Windows 7. Just makes life a lot easier if you ask me. Day to day task are just easier and more convenient.
Honestly, I probably find it this why because I've been using Windows since '95.
