Hcg and FSH recovery...

I apologize for the re-post, but I wasn't having much luck over on Anabolic Recovery...

I have been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for approximately one year. The regimen consists of 140mg of a testosterone cypionate/propianate blend weekly. Recent blood work indicated that I am producing little or no FSH whatsoever, which was not particularly surprising. However, it is a bit upsetting, considering the fact that my wife and I are trying to conceive. So, my question is this: If I stop the testosterone injections completely, and rely on Hcg alone for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), will my FSH production recover? Or will Hcg be just as suppressive?

Thank you in advance,

Poly

Don't stop anything. Go get a spermanalysis FIRST. I was on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for a year, and my FSH and LH levels were shit, yet my sperm count was 42 million (normal males are ~20million). We conceived fine.

Not saying you are the same, but before you go stopping Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) and feeling like ass, i would do that first. Even then, if your sperm count is low, i would stay on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and try a combo of blast HCG with Tore Citrate, as it has shown to increase sperm count quite well.

worse case you get your doc involved and come off, and start a rather arduous journey down the road of feeling not so great until momma gets pregnant.

Again, not trying to discount the importance here, but if you can do it without stopping your Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) dose, why wouldn't you?

Good luck.

RJ,

I have had a sperm analysis performed, and it came back quite low. I don't recall the exact number.

Has Toremifine Citrate been demonstrated to increase sperm count in the presence of exogenous T? I found a great deal of research on the compound, but none that included TRT.

And you are right: I would prefer to stay on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and address the fertility issues as an aside. Lets see, do I want to be a whiny, emotional pussy with no libido, and tons of sperm? Or my normal self with a low sperm count. To that end, I do have some Hmg en route, unless my source falls through.

Thanks RJ,

Poly

well, i have heard HMG is awesome. Here's what i would do.

1. Get some Tore and start taking it at 60-80mg/d. I haven't seen any sperm count studies in the presence of Exo T, but it does in normal men with low T, so to me its a good start. Also, the HMG, or Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), or both depending on what they are better at.

2. In another month get your sperm tested again. In that time the studies of sperm count increase with Tore were great, more in the 2nd month and leveled off in the 3rd i believe.

If that doesn't work, you may have to start looking at other options, but i would start there. Even if you get some goofy sides (which you shouldn't with Tore), you will feel much better being on. IMO 140mg/w of test isn't gonna be too much of a hinderance as you will basically be overloading the boys and making it nearly impossible to not produce. you've covered all the bases at this point.

All a doc is gonna do is make you come off the test, load up on HCG/HMG and Clomid and see what happens after a few months anyway. I'd rather do it this way. :D

I would be popping orchic, pituitary, and thymus extract glandulars like candy and jump off the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) to see if your sperm counts rise. Most people on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) get low sperm counts but when you get off it for a month you can have kids for the most part.
