WHAT CAN BE THE REASON FOR LOW HDL LEVEL

doctor says it mat cause herta disease..

can any one help me for this???????

i have done a cycle of sus,deca, n androl before a year....

PLZ help m eout for low HDL level

I would stop the cycle.

do you know what your level was before you started?

1) talk to your doctor about what you can do to get your HDL up
2) get blood re-tested
3) do cardio
4) check diet

its not really what your HDL is as much as your ratio. last time i was tested my HDL was 39. which is low. however, my total cholesterol was very low. so my ration was actually very good.

Your cholesterol levels would have gone bad near the beginning your cycle (if they were not already bad before you started). So if you've got only a few weeks to go on your cycle I would complete it... your cholesterol probably won't change that much more.

To help your HDL levels start taking red yeast rice and loads of fish oil, like 5000 mg or more of oil with each meal.

When you do your post cycle therapy (pct), the nolvadex will also help raise HDL a little, so don't come off the nolvadex too soon.

I dont know if anyone has thought of this but the body will right its cholesterol probs much faster in a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) state than in a post cycle state where its low on testosterone.

I would finish the cycle as planned but instead of doing post cycle therapy (pct), run a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose of test along with 2g of niacin a day for a couple months then do pct. Heres why i suggest this: Testosterone and cholesterol are very closely related. When you have low testosterone, or when you cycle and put your test way out of the range on the high end, cholesterol issues appear. Putting your testosterone in the top of the normal range will give you the best cholestrol profle. This along with exercise and proper diet of course. Its important to stay in the range too and not go over. 125mg per week will usually do the trick.

As for proof of this ive been on HRT for a year now and my total cholesterol has dropped from 180 to 150 even in light of a 18 week tren cycle i just finished. My HDL did drop though down to 19 but ive been on 2g of nicain per day along with testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for the last 4 weeks. Im gonna get it checked this week and im willing to bet right now its back up in the normal range. Will report back when i find out.

I always run a little bit of nolva along side my cycle to keep my lipids in check..
Some might say it hinders gain's but I dont care I have only had jacked up lipids once in my life they have either stayed normal or just got slightly elevated during the cycle..

Damn Estray 18 weeks of Tren? Thats a long time!!

Word up Lucky on A-dex killing the lipids.

lol, i know. But my bloodwork came back perfect with the exception of the low hdl. Even liver values were normal and tren is supposed to be harsh on the liver. Another internet myth i guess. Anyhow I just took about 5 weeks off and im back at it. Why not huh?

arimidex can be shity on the lipids, Aromisan is much better (according to what I've read )

Agreed, Arimidex is probably the worst on lipids next to Letrozole. Aromasin is better. Lipids should straighten itself out when you finish post cycle therapy (pct) and come off but will take a few months. However, during the time you are on you are getting plaque buildup of somekind but to what degree, I don't think anyone can really speculate. Tough call bro. Here I was worried that my HDL is 26 while I'm on but 9 is just horrible.

36wks of tren ace last year ftw...everything is individual it seems

my body thrives in a toxic state

EXCELLENT INFO! I have been telling people this for years. Also , it is very common for hdl to be low on a cycle of orals. Mine made it to a 6 on superdrol. After post cycle therapy (pct) it was a 23 and didn't get higher until I went on hrt. After a continuos bad hdl reading and feeling like shit my doc did a test level check and I was at 147. I started using 200 mgs /week and my hdl went up to 36 in 5 weeks.

Where did you read this? I'm curious if it was something you read on a board or there was a specific study related to it.

Read it a long while ago on a different board. I believe the guy that was doing it read a study about. He is a very respected and very knowledgable. Ill try and find it and post it up.
