***Help*** My body weight have got stuck...

joy4u

No Pain No Gain...
I am an Indian..I am 21 years old, with 55 kg body wight...I train daily and give a rest of two days to every muscle..

My Training Chart is as follows:-
1st Day

CHEST, LEG

2nd Day

LAT, BICEP, TRICEPS

3rd day

SHOULDER, DELTOID

And I train ABDOMEN everyday...

I am Training for about 1 year and have gained a great body weight and muscle mass(not fat)..
But for 3 months i am have almost no gains...I am giving proper diet and eat about 6 - 7 times a day...

I have consulted a Sport medicine doctor today.. He said that their are two ways of training...Delorme and oxford..

He said me that while training a muscle in the delorme style one should
start with 25% weight with 20 repitition , on the 2nd set should add 50% weight with 15 rep , on the 3rd set should add 75% weight with 10 rep , and on the 4th set should add 100% weight with 5 rep..

And while training a muscle in the Oxford style one should start with 100% weight and end up with 25% weight...

He even said that I should increase the weight to 10 % every 3 weeks...

I want to ask u all friends that is he correct????Will this realy make me gain more muscle mass??? If so then which methord should I follow ,the DELORME or the OXFORD???

Will be waiting for ur reply...

I have a feeling joy4u is fucking around. So someone else can tackle this one.

Yeah, honestly screw the type of training for now and just focus on getting a good enough workout so that you feel a little sore the next day. Focus more on post-workout nutrition for now and see how you respond to it. Go for at least 40 grams of protein and 60-100 grams of sugary carbs all in a shake. Shakes absorb the quickest, so do this within 10 minutes after working out. An hour later, take in some complex carbohydrates like brown rice for example, and a good source of protein like chicken. Keep the calories coming, be consistent, follow the 'trail and error' principle, and you should see some gains.

Thank u for replying....I dont know what is "trial and error"...

And the next thing is that as u told me to takeabout 40gm of protine..so can I use whey protine????and for 60 - 100 gm of sugary carbs what should I take...I have no idea...

'Trial and error' means that if you've been doing something for awhile and it isn't working for you, then move onto something else and see if that works for you. Also, in terms of a postworkout shake, you could try 1-2 scoops of a weight gainer with 2 scoops of protein, or just mix 2 scoops of protein into about 16 oz of fruit juice or a sport drink like gatorade. The reason you need these kind of carbs is because they help to shuttle the protein into your muscles a lot faster, which is what makes your muscles grow. Also, whey protein is the best kind to take post-workout.

Chest- biceps, legs-shoulders,back- triceps. Much better combination i think. And I couldn t agree more with Musculo Fuerte
