I'm a chef like to lift, need to shed extra pounds want to get jacked.... I am 23 6"1" and weight 250. Roids an option? Effects? Help? Guidance please?

K let's say diet gets on track. And I get back in gym 5 days a week. To get built roids are not an option?

come on man... you want to use gear and get a quick fix. but what you really need is a little bit of self discipline. get your diet right, train right and do cardio. If after a year your not where you want to be then maybe consider juicing...

bc to be honest you number one arent ready for it and two you dont need it to get results yet

that means its diet, you have to learn to live in caloric deficit, it wont be easy for a week or more, but you can do it, go Paleo :-)

Diet makes up a critical part in losing weight and gaining muscle. You can't keep consuming more calories then your burning off in a day.. sure, exercise helps, but a really dialed in strict diet will net u results promptly. Being an Italian chef would make dieting difficult but not impossible. I too love the sauce! U just gotta moderate your cheat meals.
