Help with pct for a short and sweet 4 week cycle?

Hi all...

I have previously ran a 10 week test e cycle but crashed around 4-5 weeks into it... Gains stopped and I started to feel shitty and ended up losing most of the gains made... I did not use hcg but did clomid nolva for pct and used proviron and armidex throughout...

Because I felt so great at 4 weeks I have decided to opt for a shorter cycle with prop to see if I can keep more gains this time round... I have read a little into shorter cycles and feel they may suit me better towards reaching my current goals.

I plan to

shoot 100mg test.P eod for 4 weeks/30 days
Take 50mg proviron ed throughout the 4 weeks

I have plenty of nolva and clomid on hand for pct but have struggled to find any concrete info on how to use it only that I should start 72 hours after last jab...

What you guys recommend ?

I'm looking to lose a little body fat and make some lean gains from this cycle. My training and diet is now on point. I'm 25, 5'11 now 204lbs at 24% bf... But I was 216lbs and 28% bf 3 weeks ago... I have at least 10 more weeks of cutting before I plan to start my mini cycle or however long it takes to reach 15-18% (my goal was 28% down to 15% in 13 weeks) I understand it should go slower as it gets lower though so can wait a little longer if necessary. I am pleased with the current rate of progression :)
 
First up good progress on your cut! Keep it up, good to see someone trying to actually get the bf down and cycle safely.

Secondly... Theres no real reason you should have "crashed" 4-5weeks into your first cycle... I'd be lookin at your source for abwsers there. I reckon either you ended up pinning a bunk or well underdosed vial halfway through or it was always underdosed. Either that or you failed to manage your e2 (could have crashed or could have been too high.)

How much arimidex were you using during your cycle?
How well do you trust your last source?
And can you elaborate on how you felt "shitty?"

Now onto your second cycle... I'd go 6weeks at a minimum and front load the first week if your gonna go that short. 4weeks is barely worth shutting down for. Preferably I'd say go 8weeks. Chances are if your bf is low enough and you manage your e2 properly you wont get a "crash."

Pct should always be this at a minimum:

Clomid- 100/50/50/50
Nolva - 40/20/20/20

Thats fine for your cycle..

I see no mention of an AI... You don't just "crash", what I am assuming you meant is you started getting lethargic, lost the sense of well-being that you initially had and started feeling just shit in general... I can only assumed you didn't use an AI?
 
Proviron isn't an adequate ai. Stick to adex or Aromasin. Get bloodwork to see where your at. 4 weeks of prop isn't a good cycle.
 
First off thanks for all the replies :)

My first cycle I used armidex from gen shi at .5 ed... The test e was also gen shi and I kept it modest at 350mg ew. It sure gave me a buzz and made me wanna fuck every second of every day... I was gettin semis when old biddy's bent over. I would more expect I took too much armidex for fear of sides and it was probably low oestrogen that caused me to crash/ feel like utter dogshit... I made pretty impressive gains the first 4 weeks even though I didn't even expect it to kick in so quickly I was using proviron 25mg ed (not enough I know but whole cycle was miss-sold to me) with the test e to try and keep that lean look... It was working... The other things I questioned was whether my diet was up to scratch to deal with the new mass... I put nearly 14lbs (14.8 st to 15.7) on in that 4/5 week period but kept eating the same... (Around 2500 - 3000 kcal) Maybe lack of nutrients + low estrogens = lethargy loss of well being

Anyway...

My idea was to hit something short I have plenty of nolva on hand in case of gyno and proviron to assist but mostly to keep water right down (and for the sex whaaoo) and a boost of test see if I can keep a few lean lbs this time... 4/5 maybe 6 lean lbs would be nice on my arms and chest. ( I have a naturally broad chest and this will be one of my best features when defined but I find it hard to gain on my arms... ((Shoulders are coming along nicely though))

Also on my first cycle I tried pinning in the quads a couple times... A few hours later I would have this ridiculous pain in my knee so I'm assuming I missed the quad and the oil dropped down my thigh into my knee... B times but could that have contributed to my crash?

I appreciate the input guys that first cycle went to pot I'm hoping to get it right second time round

Any advice on what to expect hitting the glutes with 15 shots over 30 days?

I touched the pin with grubby fingers on first cycle too that's y I went looking for quads... I learned the hard to keep it extra clean.

Yeah 0.5mg Adex every day is way too much. It's too much for a 500mg weekly cycle, let alone only 350mg. That's your issue with the last cycle, you crashed your e2. Crashing e2 will cause that lethargy, wreck gains a bit and make you feel like shit.

4 weeks is way too short - a lot of your gains would have been water.

Spot on, you need to be eating more. If you ate at the same caloric intake throughout you would definetely stall pretty quickly. You should be upping the cals every one to two weeks.

If your really worried about gyno then run raloxifen at 30mg or nolva at 20mg daily throughout your cycle from day 1.

I doubt your injections had anything to do with your crash, even if it leaked and went subq it only slows absorption slightly.

You need to use more than just glutes for eod injections. Delts are great. quads are easy enough. Your going to need at least 6 injection sites for this cycle. Glutes, quads, delts, repeat.
 
Hit the nail on the head ^^ .5mg adex ED would probably be alright for double that dose of Test. Next time try .5mg E3D, or .25mg EOD...Get bloodwork 6 weeks in to see where this puts your E2 at and then you can adjust accordingly if required.

Quad injects usually leave me with some solid PIP, although I am bucking up and going to be adding them into my rotation (I can only thank shitty UGL gear for giving me extreme PIP and lumps in my one each delt and glute so quads have to be started now... Just gotta find the sweet area). Nothing to be worried about and it goes away with time... Eventually you will be able to pin quads with no PIP or at worst occasional slight PIP (this just comes with the territory of injecting, but it isn't severe).
