Adex is an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) (Aromatase inhibitor), proviron is a dht derived AAS. First off you are best of with aromisin (exemestane) which is a superior Aromatase inhibitor (AI) in all ways, but adex works well also. An Aromatase inhibitor (AI) like adex competes for the estro receptor, and reduced the actual amount of estro. Aromisin is a suicidal Aromatase inhibitor (AI) that will actually make the receptor inactive, with adex, when you stop using it, it detaches from an active receptor so you can have a rebound of estro. But most guys just taper off.
Proviron is a dht. It's useful. It has a positive effect on the libido of most men by lowering shbg(sex hormone binding globulin). When you lower shbg, you allow for more free test, and free test is what you want and what your body uses.
By lowering shbg, there will be less test bound by it, which means there will be more free Test because it's not bound and being converted to estro.
So proviron IMO is not a replacement for an Aromatase inhibitor (AI), and they can be used together, and you may need less Aromatase inhibitor (AI) while using proviron. I personally like to add proviron or masteron to cycles for the above reasons. Proviron is not liver toxic even though it may elevate liver values slightly but elevation does not mean damage.
50mg a day should be plenty. I would start adex at .25mg 2-3 times a week about two weeks in. You can use more if you need it.
