Hey guys,

I know im prolly in the wrong forum here but here goes anyway. first off id like to say im new here. i have posted here and there a few times but never formally introduced myself. my name is rodman9866 :D :p . i post at other forums too but lately this one has been holding my attention the most.

here is my situation....for like 3 months i was on a pretty strict bulking schedule meaning high protein, moderate carbs, and low fat....eating about 3500-3700 calories a day. i was getting in about 400 grams protein abuot 275 grams carb and 50 grams of fat. that was the skeleton. i trained using MAX-OT principles and still do. i been cutting for what it feels like forever now (almost 4 months now) and i look pretty good but i took my bodyfat measurement and its no where near the mark i had planned. i started out at like 18% and now im down to 11%....i was hopin gto be at least 10 shooting for single digits. i dieted my ass off and ate madd salads cut the bread out and pasta and rice only except for one of my post workout meals to help in my recovery and to get my insulin levels up. I eat around 2000-2300 cvalories a day now. and have been for awhile by gadually reducing my calories by like 200 every couple weeks to spare loosing a lot of muscle as well as fat. i think if i go any lower (which im not afaid too) ill actually slow my metabolism down instead of keeping it running high. anybody have nay tips to keep my muscle and lose those last few digits of fat? i take AST Dymetadrine Xtreme 4-5 times daily so if i take any more of those i think i will interfere with my sleeping. i eat about 10 times a day. oh and im natural too havent taken and PH's or stuff like that.

id like to see how far i could take my body before adding any cocktails that will definately help. :40oz:

i could post my diet if you guys wanna see and the supllements i use other than the ECA.

any input would be greatly appreciated. oh the reason i want to see if i can achieve this low bodyfat is so i can see how ripped i can look and after bulking again next year try and achieve the same bf% just at a higher bodyweight and hopefully see if i can add more muscle. if so i will enter a competition. the diets i follow are based on a 20 week schedule so i would like o know if i need more time to get into that kind of shape or maybe do it in less time.

thanks again in advance.

Would need to see exactly what your diet consists of before giving you a proper assessment. I mean you mention your calorie count and macronutrient per day count but you may be eating the wrong types of foods.

DGC is a postworkout high GI carb source i take with my whey (VP2).

I take 1 dymetadrine xtreme ECA with every one of my solid food meals before my workout; 45 min b4 workout ill take 2 caps.

i also do cardio on the weekends for 16-20 min MAX-OT style which means balls to the wall cardio. on weekends i usually eat about 6 meals 7 if im lucky and get in around 500 calories less so i clock in around 2000.

any other info just ask... :)

Where's your carbs bro, I'm trying to figure out how you can function without any carbs to give you energy. You body needs those so they won't get into your muscle stores.

Based on my own dieting - you need more good carbs.

IMHO - I'll defer to others on the board with more experience.

BUT try:

6-7 egg whites scrambled (1 yolk for some fat & color, if necessary)
No more BACON - add some oatmeal or grits (slow cooked, less sodium)

add Brown Rice or sweet potato (dry or with cinnamon) - great complex carbs with those grilled chicken meals.

Try to mix up your protein as well (out body's adapt to well). Add in Extra Lean Ground Beef or Turkey - try some fish (only white fish, Talipa, Halibut, Cod)

You also need some "GOOD" fats - add in 1 tbls of flaxseed oil 3 times a day into those salads.

also watch your sugars - salad dressings, shakes?
Any protein bars as snacks? watch those as well.

GIMP is right, need to change it up - body is adapted and needs a new shock.

Good luck!

i take flax seed oil with every meal pretty much....a gram's worth........the MRP's i take only have 1 gram of sugar.

i use oil and vinegar for sald dressing lol

i dont eat protein bars

yeah i switch between baked potato, sweet potato and good ol' white bread as my high GI carb after my workouts the last couple weeks i choose bread....this week will prolly be a regular potato and a couple weeks for now ill sub in sweet potato with cinnamon and brown sugar (yum) in.

oatmeal sounds god as a carb replacement but i am trying to follow my macro's very strictly i stay with 50-55/35-38/10-12 (p/c/f). if my carbs are more than my proteins i get a really bad gut and bloat like crazy. high protein, medium carbs, and low fat seem to be the right forumla that works for me. dont worry in a few months ill be bulking up again and etaing more carbs and good ones and a helluva lot more protein to add size but my original plan is to strip away all the ffat i have, maintain my muscles and then build up from there with my next bulking cycle and try to keep my gut in check and have my muscles get biigger. then try and keep my muscle bellies as big but strip away the bf% to the single digits and keep the muscle packed on from bulking.

prolly just a dream that cant happen but its my stradegy so far. if anyone can offer tweaks for the stragedy or see a flaw in my thinking please feel free to point it out.
