HGH for general wellness is not so bad, but for muscle growth you need a boat load of it. I recently read a study where the participants were given 10IUs of HGH and saw connective tissue growth but no muscle growth. Of course, stronger connective tissues allows you to move heavier weights, which WILL grow muscle (provided you have the proper diet - without the proper diet you are doomed before you begin)...but it was not a direct effect.
