So a few years back I was hit by a car while cycling, and beyond the obvious injuries, started to have problems... Turns out my Test had seriously dropped as well as most all of my other pituitary hormones. I went from being an avid outdoorsman, club boxer, and endurance cyclist weighing 210 pounds with an 18" neck, 19" arms, and 36" waist to a sedentary 290 pounds, 45" waist and chronic joint problems! Seriously, can't lift, can't drop weight, my mass is gone, and lately even a flight of stairs has become an issue.
On to my point. I finally, FINALLY, got a doctor to prescribe HGH and damn... It's fantastic. The pain in all of my joints is going away, I've got energy, and the stairs stopped being a problem after two days, I've dropped 5 pounds in 8 days, and I'm starting to be able to go to the gym again. It's fantastic. When I got the script, my IGF-1 was at 152 but the Dr. still agreed to try. He put me on Somatropin .3 x5/2. But here's the rub... It's a month by month script.
Well, my first lab is coming up and I need to make sure I don't blow this by having some ridiculous IGF result. I don't care about the risks of levels over 200 personally; what good is longevity if all I can do is sit on my ass in pain full time? The problem is I know I'm going to need to manipulate the dosing to keep me in a solid range so the script can continue. Honestly, I don't know enough about the variables to figure it myself.
Any advice? I'm pretty jazzed about the potential to get my life back and I don't want to lose it because of a lab test.
