hi, new to weight lifting and vitamin supplements

i just started lifting weights this school year.. i guess i should also add that im 15, 16 next month. im currently 158 ill add a picture soon later but im conditioning for basketball season and i need to gain about 20-30 pounds of lean muscle cause im playing in the power fwrd.
my barber told me betagen muscle jax? is good for adding a few good pounds over a couple of weeks but im not really sure what any of this does.
also precision protein.. im guessing thats some protein juice for before/after workouts?
and e.a.s dont know anything about that..
 
if you just started about 1 month ago, there is so much more to learn. i started 1 year ago just reading on here and talking to people at the gym and im still learning the basics. like for example i just realized how important diet is. proper routine, form, and eating will do wonders.

for you since you dont have much time before basketball i would suggest sticking to just the basic core movements like bench, squat, deadlifts, and some other power lifting excercises, and eat everything you can see. also drink water whenever you can. 15-20 grams of protien after a workout would'nt hurt.

talk to the guys over in the training forum, they really know their stuff.
