Hit a nerve in quad. anyone ever had this happen?

I pin the vastus. Muay Thai killed my leg nerves.

I've done lots of quad shots but never hit a nerve or a vein. It did happen on my first glute jab though. Not sure what to think of that.

It happens sometimes. I've heard the worst nerve to hit is the sciatic nerve.

If you pin in the outer upper quadrant, you will not hit the sciatic.
This is a bit old, but is very good to learn from.
