honest question to you all

For those of you who are not on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and cycle anabolic steroids, why do you do it?

First of all im not judging anyone on here at all, because i believe everyone has their own right and reasons for doing what they do, but i'm curious how some of you rationalize it.

For me, i have bodybuilding goals and ambitions. I understand that there is a very small chance of success in this sport, but i enjoy every moment of it, and this is what i love to do. If there is a .001 percent chance that i could make money in this either by fitness modeling or bodybuilding, i think its worth it.

Obviously there are inherant risks with using anabolics especially after years and years of use. I accept the possibility that i may someday require trt. I'm willing to make the sacrifices to do what it takes to get where i want to be, diet-wise/training-wise/and aas-wise.

How does everyone else feel? How do you rationalize your use, or do you need to? What are your reasons for using? Your goals?

I want to be able to reach my goals i want to be a fitness model and have that bodybuilder look. I also need it I train a lot for fighting dont get me wrong i love fighting but i always wanted to be a fitness model not for the attention i just want to make it. I have seen my friends make it like kyle clarke we always use to talk about it and i look at him now he is in so many covers in magazines like him i want to prove to myself that i can make somewhere. I have fought pro won more than 90% of my fights but life is short i want to prove to myself i can make it in the fitness modeling world. Plus i dont drink smoke or anything I have nothing to lose but lots to gains and is it wrong to have more than one dream in this lifetime?

I love seeing a fellow fighter :wackit:

Never thought I would do steroids EVER.... When I turned 30 my recovery time doubled or even tripled after MMA. It sucked, I had to start cutting down on classes or lifting. I'm a quiet computer nerd but if I don't punch or wrestle it out multiple times a week, my rage builds up big time.

I tried all kinds of supplements but nothing worked like I wanted it to. That all changed when I was on my first cycle.. I felt like a million bucks and my recovery time came back like a raging bull.

You can skip all the above paragraphs and get to "I did it for the recovery". Tired of the slowing recovery time.

I have aspirations akin to yours, Slair. I've done some fitness modeling in the past, but really I'm interested in competitive bodybuilding...and now that I've got the education and (hopefully soon) job security I need, I want to pursue it fully.

And honestly, you only live once and I want to experience my very best self possible - both physically and otherwise.

^^^ chicks love big guys

i love the way i feel on them

i also started taking AAS when i started MMA. i also compete in power lifting and strongman events. i really dont care if i look like a bodybuilder, i just wanna be big and strong. AAS, along with proper training and diet help me reach my goals. Im 6-2, i started AAS at 205lbs, now i am 258 lbs with around 15% bf

Because I like to be around other sweaty dudes. Jk.

because i like to stare at my muscles. and i want other men to stare at my muscles. and in making sure that my muscles garner the stares of other men i stare at other men's muscles too.

Honestly, I tried gear because I wanted to really recomp my body. My diet and training were spot on and I knew using AAS would help me tremendously. It is a risk I took in this game. I have the mentality that you only live once so you might as well enjoy your time here. I am currently on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) but that was due to a head injury I suffered in a motorcycle accident which messed up my pituitary gland. testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) has been great though. PCT is no longer in my vocabulary!! lol.

I like having small balls when on a cycle.. Jk but I love the feeling when I'm on gear, workout, pumps, mental state etc. its awesome...

I to once had dreams of making it big in the sport of bodybuilding. As so many have found out the hard way it aint easy, you have better luck becoming a pro athelet in any other sport then an IFBB pro. After that i just got addicted to getting bigger and bigger.
