How can you tell if the insulin has gone bad without the bg meter?
I had one insulin cycle before and about to start the second one. But last time i used i felt tired nearly everyday i inject but today i did not feel different at all. To be fair i have eaten better than last time but still it kinda scares me that this might be off and i might end up getting superfat from all those dextrose im taking

I know that insulin is good for 28 days out of the fridge and it ought to be between 36 and 86 degrees. The obvious ways of telling if it's bad is if it turns cloudy, by checking your bg level 30' after a shot to see if there are any results. But the drug store says it's good if refrigerated for at least 6 mos.. I will be interested to hear others views.

So today I bought a vial of humulin R from walmart pharmacy, and took a shot from a new vial, but I still dont feel anything.
So my question is, are you suppose to feel tired? or would I not feel tired at all if i follow my scheduled diet??
