I know egg whites and chicken breasts are the most popular food of choice by bodybuilders or anyone looking to improve their physique. However, I can never seem to cook either good. So...

Chicken Breasts:

1.What temperature do you bake at and how long? Do you pound thin?

2.Do you add any spices?

3.Best way to store baked chicken breasts for future meal? Is is better to just cook before each sitting?

Egg Whites

1.when cooking on stove what temperature do you use (low-med-hot)?

2.Any secret methods out there to make them come out good?

3.Is there any difference in nutrients between real egg whites, egg beaters or egg beaters egg whites?

If anyone could please share their tips I would appreciate it. My diet sucks and most likely end up on program with 3J sometime soon. However, I know these 2 items will probably be on their diets as well. Thanks again..

Chicken breasts I cook on the George Foreman grill - 10-11 min does the trick. No spices/seasoning. Cook a bunch at a time and keep them in the fridge to be re-heated at each meal.

My stove top ranges from 1-10 and I cook my egg whites on 4. Nothing special, just pour them in the pan and cook them.

I grill my chicken on the BBQ grill. But it's starting to get cold out so I might have to switch to the George Foreman as well. Only "seasoning" I use is Frank's Red Hot. Love that stuff!

The minimal internal temp for chicken is 165
Chicken breasts cook pretty fast, I know when they are done, so I don't use a thermometer.
If your baking, roasting, grilling, sauteing them u want to cook using high heat & cook for a shorter period than when your poaching, baking, steaming, and slow cooking.. when you cook them like this u want to cook at a lower temp & for longer.

I usually cook them for about 8-10 min (if u cook too long, they will be dry)and the easiest way for me is grilling, sauteing.
And I do pund them, this makes them cook evenly and makes them tender.

As far as seasoning, it comes down to personal taste, chicken adapts to pretty much any flavor u add.. I love garlic, lemon &fresh herbs, but u can even use fat free italian dressing.. the possibilities are endless.

Cooking eggwhites has no science really, u just cook until it's done, & like with any other protein the longer u cook it the harder it gets, so make sure not to over cook.
I prefer eggs & I separate the egg whites, I've used egg beaters too, but prefer eggs.

For breakfast I usually do 5 egg whites 1 whole egg, scambled or open omlet, u can use turkey, ham, bell peppers, onions, spinach, really, anything u like.
The best way to cook eggs is using a non-stick pan & u can use a pam spray or a little olive oil.

I cook my chicken on the george forman and marinade it in teriyaki sauce or herb and garlic. Egg whites I cook like 30 of them at a time in a big ass pan on medium heat. I use olive oil on the pan and stir frequently. Sometimes I like to add pepper jack cheese and salsa afterwards. I usally cook 4 days worth and put them in containers.

i am sick of eating eggs. so i blend them with oats and fruit and a little milk

seasoning with low sodium miss dash bullshit, then bake it, chop it up in a fry pan with onions.

boil my eggs, keep a yolk or two throw the rest out add lots of lime and some salt. BBq my chicken and put sugar free ketchup on it

Same here george foreman grill. Make like 3 days worth and pack it up.

Seasoning is up to you. But id suggest you do. Chicken gets old fast u_u haha.

Egg whites I use shell eggs and seperate them. Easy stuff just try it x)

brother i buy the whole roasters i roast them for 2.5 hours depending on size low and slow start aT 375 FOR THE FIRST HOUR THEN TURN DOWN TO 300. always comes out perfect and juicy. its cheaper this way and hassle free. no standing over the stove. let it cool and peel skin and cut up for the week.
