How do you measure "egg whites?"

I've seen ppl put "3 eggs and 5 egg whites" How in the hell do you get that measurement?? Do you put egg white in an egg shell? LOL :wallbash:

Seperate the egg from the yolk, it's pretty easy and after doing it a lot you'll get fast at it haha...just takes out a lot of the calorie/cholesterol but sadly a lot of the nutrient...still got the PROTEIN though!

yup.. u get used to it.. i just move the yolk back and forth between the shells.. does the trick....

:0 Gwat?! I've tried that and it's a huge hustle! And, on top, you barely get any! That's coo coo.. What about the egg white they sell? The one that comes already done/ready to cook? It's just super expensive :(

You do get good at it. Crack the egg and move the yolk back and forth between the halves until the egg white drops. Or you can put it all in a big bowl and use a yolk separator.

Crack the egg and proceed the yolk back and forward between the equal half until the egg white drops. Or you can put it all in a large-scale basin and use a yolk separator.

Are they real egg whites? I know they say they are but they dont have the same texture, I cant stand the egg whites from a carton.

They are real egg whites but they are pasteurized and have chemicals like xantham gum added into them. I like to use them to just drink or add juice to, since they are pasteurized.

Thank BB.

Are they just as healthy as the real deal? I would use them more often if they are. I could deal with the mediocre taste, now when i dont feel like separating eggs or in a rush i just eat 5 or 6 of the hard boiled ones i have on hand but would always prefer an omelet over hard boiled.
