How imprtant is having hcg for your pct

Hey fellas just a quick question as asked in the title. I've read many posts saying that nolva is sufficient. Nolva/ clomid , though I've also read that hcg is also needed. How much of a necessity is it? I'm currently on my first week of pct with nolva. Clomid is coming in the next couple days. Some studies I've read say that nolva is sufficient on its own. What are your thoughts on this?

PCT should be just Nolva and Clomid used together. hCG should never be used during PCT. Since it mimics LH it is suppressive to the HPTA. You do not want to suppress the HPTA when you are trying to restart it.

hCG should however be used during your cycle. This helps minimize testicular atrophy which in turn help you recover faster and better during PCT. Did you run hCG during your cycle?

This is spot on as to what a proper protocol would be as far as HCG use as well as a proper pct.
