How long does HRT detox last

What's your Ferritin level?
Get a few opinions on what you could do to safely lower that HB. This is gonna be a sticking point for you. You respond well to TRT in terms of alleviating low T symptoms but your HCT comes up quick. You could try just staying at 600 TT man...either that or you suffer with low T.
HCG could be looked at...that could raise HB as well though.
Tough one.
Try limiting Iron, b vitamins and zinc...
Those raise HCT quicker.

Ferritin was on the very low end can't remember number but it range. Can't limit the B12. Pernicious anemia. But I get where your going.

My local endo basically says f$/& Mayo. Low the dose every other week and let's recheck.

If you have pernicious anemia I would also take folic acid...
A good quality one like "MetaFolin".

Yep I have some crappy pill that kills my stomach that Mayo gave me. It's a script form of folic and all other b vitamins. But it major side effect is Poly Vera. LOL......I am sure know your starting to understand.

It's why I found a new hematologist. Trying to get the right cocktail of meds. But not taking test is just Frigin horrible.

I know those script form minerals can be pretty harsh.
Thats why I choose supplement store products.
The script iron is nasty....

Interesting how you state you have low platelets, yet your HCT indicates the exact opposite. Exogenous testosterone forces your red bone marrow to generate all solid components of blood at an accelerated rate.

Have you ever been to a red cross to see what they say? Platelet Apheresis has definitely become my weapon of choice in keeping HCT at bay - so it may not hurt to get a second opinion on this matter.

Elevated FSH? Is this treatment supposed to act as a form of birth control? I'm obviously not all knowing, but I cannot imagine a health care provider that tends to go "by the book" treating such a condition in this manner. Strange.

Anyway, it's not being "toxic", it's your body reacting as it thinks it should and will attempt to return to homeostasis within 6 weeks or so.

I agree with Mega in that you should see about restarting your hpta as it will be a bumpy ride for sure.

My .02c :)

Here is an example of blood

So basically I switch back to a previous Clinic where my favorite Hematologist worked. Unfortunately my doc there got sick and retired. Anyway new Dr says it's stupid to stop the HRT let's fix your blood and he did a phlebotomy today. It's going to be a little tricky but it's about quality of life.
