as the question implies, how long has this been going on? was gear available as it is now 50 years ago for the average person? what about TRT, has it gone hand in hand with gear use or did it break out later?

Well steroids were made by Germany in 1935, Testosterone. Got introduced to sports by way of the olympics in the 50***8217;s so I would be willing to bet they weren***8217;t readily available for a long time.
When it was invented they were using it as a therapeutic for multiple things so that would be when trt started. As for it going mainstream, I***8217;m not sure about.
Steroids went mainstream in the 80***8217;s. Sure Arnold and the like we***8217;re usind way before but they become readily available to the average Joe in the 80***8217;s.

Thanks for sharing, so one could say that steroids has only been in effect for some 40 years and this constitues it as an advancing science since we do not really know the longer term effects of it. im sure the genes of those who use it is affected in some way and im sure that the population of the world can be affected by it since it affects those with reproducing.
one way for population control i would say.
