how many customs letters

I've only gotten one. They tried to have me sign for it (it was through certified mail). Because I wasn't home they left the receipt telling me to go pick it up, but I never did. About a month later I got it in my mailbox.
 
well a weird thing happened to us. I had placed 2 orders. One in my name and one in my wifes name. I recieved mine but she got a letter in the mail saying that they had confiscated a package they believed was anabolic steroids. Well about 2 weeks later she got a certifed mail receipt in the mail. I told her just let it go because we wasn't expecting anything. Well 4 weeks after that we finally got a letter saying the package was steroids and that we could dispute it blah blah blah. What do you think they were trying to pull with the certified thing. You thing they were going to try and bust us after the customs letter? It was a small order.
 
what I gathered from them sending it through certified mail was proof that I recieved the letter. (rather than initially sending it through regular mail, and then saying I never got it). So next time if I were to order internationally, and they confiscated it again, they could then have a case against me. (Saying that because I had signed for the certified letter there was proof I had recieved it, then having a second seizure it would be harder to dispute)
 
i got one of those alst week. i had no idea what it was and signed for it, not knowing what it was untill after. fuck, i wish id seen this thread last week
 
Yea, I really want to order internationally again. I doubt they have my address flagged, b/c I recently recieved a package from England. This could also be due to the fact that packages coming from England dont arouse as much suspicion as other countries.
 
I have received 7 and one was due to the source mailing somone elses order to me by mistake. Needless to say I think my home address is a bit hot, so I now have my orders shipped to different addresses.

3 different addy's, 5 different sources. None of the addy's are in my real name so I don't really stress too much. Plus all of the sources I used were top notch with excellent packaging. But when you go international shit can happen.

I can't stand seeing the threads where people are arguing over domestic or international and some dumbass always pipes up with "well, if you have a good source that uses good packaging you won't have a problem".

The fact is every supplier has had issues at one time or another. I've used over a dozen international guys and have heard of issues from at least 20-30 others. You always risk that customs seizure regardless.

I now only go domestic for numerous reasons. One being if you get a seizure to your address, whether it be MBE, PO Box, or home, it is very likely that they may keep a closer eye on your mail from there on out, international AND domestic. At one of the MBE's I was flat out asked if I was on steroids. :rolleyes:

The USPS is definitely getting a lot more liberal on the packs they decide to open. I now know of a few guys that have had domestic packs taken. It seems they are now scanning random express packs.

...I thought it was illigal for USPS to open a letter ...i thought they had to contact somebody for suspicion....they opened ours..saw the roids..called barney fife and his boys and took my buddy to jail...harrassed him alot..but other than that nothing......

...only have one letter....the source sent it priority mail..and it got lost in dallas..we got a letter saying 'that our package was on its way, it was lot in dallas, sorry for the delay...i knew that it would get busted, because it was too much stuff going on with my shit involved...7 days letter...seizure notice...just chunked it and cried like a little bitch.....its one thing when you have a full time job and you can afford this shit..but its another thing when your a full time college kid, and you don't have shit...and you spend it all on juice, just to get it thrown back in your face
 
A buddy at the gym ordered some stuff and got busted. He placed the order in his buddies name and signed for him. Well when he got in the house he opened the package and BOOM a beeping device started going off that was planted in the package. He smashed the device and ran outside and started stashing the stuff in the woods. He got rushed by some customs agents and slammed one of them. They finally restrained him. This dude was 250lbs. He had just won the Mr. Georgia. He would probably be a pro by now if this mishap wouldn't have happened. Just letting you guys know everytime you go to open those packages.

damn, thats too bad for him. that almost sounds like a victorian guy story. i wouldnt have believed it if you didnt post a link!
 
damn now im getting a lil more paranoid about all this shit. a fucking beeping devise to alert them when he opened it? WTF.
