How much does a 10 ml Testosterone weigh?

So I think the compounding pharmacy is ripping me off (not intentionally, maybe human error)... Any idea on how to "weigh" a 10ml Testosterone ??

The specific gravity of peanut oil is .92, so the 10ml contents should weigh right around 9.2 grams. I'm neglecting the contribution of the test itself here. Of course you will have to know the weight of the empty container too.
EDIT: I guess the benzyl alcohol (SG around .8) might bring it down a little more. Call it 9 grams.

Depends on how they're ripping you off I guess. You think they're shorting you on the 10ml or the amount of hormone in the solution?

Well, I don't mind if they rip me off a little bit, but my doctor's been giving me a hard time because I always need a refill before it is "due." He says he can't refill for me again if it happens again... Any ideas? I do 0.375ml x 2 a week... It's so hard to get an accurate measure on that 0.375... Sometimes I think I'm hitting 0.4... But my labs are still normal, no spikes in testosterone... I feel like my doctor is going to cut me off of testosterone because he thinks I'm taking dosage more than prescribed... Which I'm not. So I think it's the pharmacy... Any ideas on what should I do if he cuts me off completely?? I'm only in the 850 testosterone range. That's no where near abusive right?

Btw, 0.375 is basically 1.5cc/2weeks taken in to twice a week (1.5/4).

I can only think that you are misreading what part of the plunger on the syringe to match up with the scale... the (usually) black rubber seal part, right? Sorry if the question sounds condescending, just trying to help.

Do you have an old vial that is empty. Fill it up with 10ml of cooking oil and see if it is at the same level as your new bottle of test.

Time for a new doc if this guy doesn't realize that 10ml in a vial doesn't equate to 10ml in your body. I'm VERY careful (I'm a cheap bastard) with my drawing and usage of conservation techniques, and still have yet to see a full 10ml worth of injections go into my body. That's probably the ONLY advantage of using the small 1ml vials - but screw paying 4x the cost because it's in a smaller container.

It's not likely that you're being ripped off, but you can always just take out 4 3ml syringes (they're cheap) and withdraw the entire contents of the vial and see for yourself. Going by weight is a tricky disposition as you would need to know the density of the oil/the hormone/and whatever else they put inside the vial (or specific gravity as mentioned above works).

My .02c :)

I was thinking the same thing... But it would look so silly in front of everybody :( I'll be henceforth known as the cheap bastard.

Well, it would certainly prove your case of not being an abuser. Then again, the fact your blood panels show you within the lab ranges of testosterone should be enough for these guys. If I thought I was being shorted, I'd do it at least once haha.
