How much protein can your body digest at once?

INTENSITY IS EVERYTHING
I read once a long ass time ago, that your body can only digest up to 50g of protein at once and if you can in anymore than that in one meal, then its pretty much pointless. Is there any truth to this, or does anyone know the max amount of protein you can take in during one meal?

i will lol . imo your body will adapt to higher and higher protein intake if you raise the levels slowly . also takeing digestion aids can help .
 
I can only take in 20-40 at a time depending on how much other food I eat...the reason for this is I need to drink about 40gallons of water otherwise I can't blink or swallow from lack of moisture

200lbs 12%bf and in a day I'll still take in 250-300g of protein, I learnt over time that if I chug down to much protein there's noway I can drink enough water...this causes dhydration and that's not good for muscle cells.
 
who gives a shit how much you can digest?

Figure out how much you need in a day, and divide that by 6 or 7 meals. People worry about the tiny details, and completely miss the big picture. Only pro's really need to worry about squeezing the last 5% out of everything. We all try for the same 5% and miss the other 95%.

well not all of us are "pro bodybuilders" like you are, so we dont have the same frame of mind as you do. LOL 8)

i think if you read his post again hes saying basically that only pros need to get everything down to absolute perfection and most of us tend to complicate shit way to much .
a perfect example is all the guys on the internet doing concentration this and isolation that excercises when the weigh 185 pounds soaking wet , for gods sake you cant shape what aint there lol .

Nailed it on the head bro. These guys need to spend less of there time worring about little trivial things like this and train hard and eat more!

it all depends on the look you are going for..hands down.
 
B.....Im not sure but I think you could probably take in more protien than you have been. Unless you have changed your diet since we last talked about it.
I eat every two hours of course. I try and take in about 50 grams in the morn 50 grams an hour before a workout and 80 grams after a workout. The other meals throughout the day usually consist of about 40 grams of protien. On a daily basis I probably take in well over 300 grams.
As mentioned before however your protien needs can change...depending on what it is you are supplementing ie DNP, CLen, T3, T4 or any AAS. When im bulking of course I am probably getting upwards of 400 grams of protien per day...when cutting I usually drop in down to 250 grams per day. Currently I am simply maintaining so its 300grams.

I'm not sure what you mean by this? Whether your bulking or cutting, trying to be a fitness model or pro BB'er you should be eating clean, training hard and getting rest. The only thing that should change about your diet when bulking or cutting is the amount of Cals - the food should stay the same, just much more when bulking.
 
nobody really knows...and even if they did everyones body type is different so really....you will never find out!
The way I look at it
Protein = muscle so eat as much of it as you can lol.
