So I have not done deadlifts in a loooonnnng time do to a minor injury scaring me.

straight to the point..

I have narrow shoulders and a narrow waist and a 32 inch waist when i'm lean (i'm 6'2) it's really all I have going for me lmao.

I am cycle free and do not plan on doing anymore cycles. But because of my narrow shoulders i'm scared dead lifts might leave me looking like a square.

what's your input? they will obviously thicken the lower back but will they actually give you a thicker waist to shoulder ratio?

I know I sound like a ***** but this is important to me..

Will dead lifts make your core wider?, the answer is absolutely not, if anything it will cause you to produce more natural human growth hormone and testosterone, thus these will assist in shoulder and upper body muscle hypertrophy and give you that more “V” look.
If you want to help keep your waist tight and small you need to do “vacuums” daily, this will give you a very tight mid section.

I would suggest doing them. I think it's a silly idea that your afraid deads will increase your waist. I mean this exercise is strengthening your core, your lats and your lower back. Waist size grows due to bad diet

True that, without a strong secure core the whole thing can come falling apart and thats when injury presents its ugly head.

If no fat increase you waist will not grow due to deads or squats. It adds strength to you core.

Look at the pros, huge but small waist. They squat and dead lift.

My .02

Wasn’t this exact question asked a little while back. I’m almost positive I saw a thread concerning this exact thing...may have been on another forum
