How often can I?

Hello,

Just tonight I received and started my first D-Bol, and Test cycle.

Doing 250mg 2x a week of test, and 20mg of d-bol(for now) ED.

I've been mainly doing compound lifts for a long time now (Bench, Deadlift, Squat, Rows etc) along with some assistance like weighted dips and chin ups.

3x a week, with rest/cardio on off days.

I'm 23, 6'2", 192 lb or so.

My question is - How often can I train while on this cycle? How often do I need rest? I have friends telling me to train upwards of 5 - 6 times a week and just eat like a monster.

My knowledge previous to gear tells me that this is too often, they're telling me that since I am on gear I can now do this and bulk like a monster.

Appreciate responses and insight.

To be honest don't overdo it. You can handle more, and you will grow more. But I believe those time when people end up with injuries such as a torn peck muscle when on cycle is because they overdo it thinking the gear makes them invincible.

Just hit harder as you can, try to squeeze more out of your sessions, but 7 days a week even on gear has an effect on your CNS, and your muscles may grow quicker but your tendons will not be subjected to the same benefit.

u say u are on 20mg of dbol for now?? what does that mean? why not just go with a more effective dose of 40mg for the first 4-5 weeks of your cycle, it makes no sense to either gradually up your dose or to keep it such a low one... 20mg is almost useless...

to the question of how often u can train... each muscle no more than once every 4 or 5 days, anymore and u won't be growing at all

Im a believer that the longer and more time you put in...the bigger you will get. My rational for this thinking is mainly due to the fact that while on gear your recovery period is going to be quicker than off. I, personally see more results this way. Just be careful and know your own body and avoid injury.

actually im on 20mg to 25mg a day of dbol and averaging 3 pounds gain a week (with an ai). This is my first cycle however.

I would do as zero mentioned, just hit harder during your sessions. I hit the weights 4 days a week. tried bumping it up a day or 2 but I get burned out.

I talk to guys at the gym who mention they do 6-7 days a week, one body part a day, switching it up from low reps heavy weights one day to high reps lower weights the next. Ive been wanting to try this, but not sure if i can handle it without getting burnt out.

Id like to hear more on this from people doing something like this.

Would you say the recovery period improves once the test kicks in when doing cycles like test, sus, etc. or right from the start?

How about with dbol, does it improve your recovery as well? I know workouts are allot better with it but the half life isn't that long.

I'm doing 20mg D-Bol ED because I've read everywhere that's a good start amount for someone. I've never done a cycle before, and along with the 500mg every week of test I imagine I'll still see pretty appreciative results.

I'm going to train and just listen to my body I guess, and hit it harder and all like you say.

Appreciate the responses, loving the nearly immediate feeling from the d-bol, perhaps its just me thinking it up though. :wavey:

Also as for the "Each muscle" - I do compound exercises so I'm nearly hitting every muscle, just in different concentrations, each work out. I did split exercises for awhile and I've been trying to focus on my overall strength now. Done appropriately you can put on some mass though.

time to go eat some chicken.
