How to increase Bench Totals

I have been at somewhat of a barrier on bench for a while now. I would like it to increase another 15 pounds or so.

I do bench, incline, weighted dips, pushups on chest day most of the time.

I also regularly do deads and squats.

What are some good exercises or techniques to increase bench totals?

Just eat and get stronger. That has been working for me.

Also, get stronger on incline bench, and shoulder press, and your bench will go up a bit.

Thanks Golden I was hoping you would speak up. I stopped doing shoulder presses when I began Pullins workout plan. I was thinking that I was overworking shoulders and that was taking away from my bench.

I am frustrated (and i am sure you can understand) because I am cutting and struggling to maintain strength in upper body. I am not eating as much as usual and that is the biggest reason I guess. Would using boards or anything like that help?

Oh, your cutting. Well that does make it more complicated. I dont know much about pullinbigs routine, so see how it goes I guess. But my way works well for me.

Gain strength when bulking and eating, and maintain strength while cutting. Never lose strength. Thats the only way to get good results that I know of.

Try a wave loading scheme for a few weeks.

You won't really gain much mass at all, but it works to condition your CNS and help you push more weight with what you have.

Try to figure out where you are sticking on your bench (eg: ur failing at halfway up, having problems with lockout, etc...) and then try rack presses, lockout presses, etc....
im not very knowledgeable about this type of training but it should get you out of the rut
