how to keep my shape ...

ok guys,so now i'm kinda free and my time is mostly mine, one year from now i'll start my residency which means I'll have time for 1 or 2 workout sessions max weekly

so here's the plan, I wanna build up muscles and look good with a hard workout routine for this year, and a training routine to only keep what I gained for the rest of my life :D
this plan shouldn't include any cycles , I'm not a professional BBer and it's my destiny to never be ... I just wanna look good and that's all, nothing huge

so what do you suggest my routine for now, and what's the lightest training routine to keep your muscles?
 
to keep in shape,i would recommend light weights and high reps,that will build muscle and with diet you will keep what you gain,you could switch it around and lift heavier once a month and then go back to light,for me,i would start out in the 8 rep range to build muscle for a few months to gain some muscle,then once you reached your goals,just do a lighter workout to keep what you have,good luck man
