How to read the syringe?

This may be a really stupid question but I feel like I only injected 1.5ml instead of 2ml

Should I read the syringe with the needle pointing up or down? Up it says 2ml down it says 1,5ml

Doesn't matter which direction you read it, unless you've left a ton of air in the barrel. The top of the rubber stopper needs to be at the mark of your choice, where the rest of the barrel towards the needle is filled with your gear.

How do you prevent drawing air though?

Did what you said and the top of the plunger is around the 2ml mark but due to air I only have like 1,6
I'm trying really hard to be good here and be nice, but I'm very surprised with this thread to say the least.

Looking at your syringe, hold it with the needle facing up, flick it with your fingernail a few times to get the bubbles to the top and then slowly depress the plunger until all the air leaves the syringe. BAM! No more air in the syringe, and you can now clearly see that you have around 1.75mL of oil in that syringe.

I honestly think you're WAY over complicating things here and need to realize how a syringe works. It measures the internal volume of what is drawn into it. In your picture, that would be the volume of oil to the left of the black rubber stopper. Once you've drawn air into the syringe and injected that air into the vial to displace the volume of oil you are to remove, pull the needle back into the oil with the vial upside down. You can clearly see (unless your vials have strange opaque labels that prevent you from seeing the level of the oil) where the tip of the needle is and then pull back. If you get air into it, eject the air back into the vial, pull the needle down further and draw back again.

I worry about your cycle given this very basic step that should have been covered long before you started. Please tell me you have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and post cycle therapy (pct) lined up as well.

My .02c :)

I did half a year of research and most sites made it sound like holding the vial upside down is optional but it seems pretty much like a must. Did some practice and if you hold the vial upside down and dont put the needle in to deep you can indeed easily draw the neccessary amount with nog big air bubbles. Didnt have this problem with my first inject since the vial was still completely filled

And yes I have both post cycle therapy (pct) and Aromatase inhibitor (AI), thanks for your concern

I was unaware that any country coined a two hundredths of a cent piece :-p

Ya know, as a math minor I've been waiting for someone to point that out ever since I started using that. Sadly, I still don't have anything witty to reply about it even though I've been trying for some time. I guess I'm just living up to my forum name. :D

OP: I'm glad you have an Aromatase inhibitor (AI) and a post cycle therapy (pct) lined up. Turning the vial upside down isn't required, but it makes it much easier to get it done. ;)

draw it this way, air goes straight to the top..... when ur done just push on it a bit so the oil has a little bubble at the tip and then pin urself

I'm thinking of pinning the extra 0,5ml tonight should I? or just do it properly next week? how much will it matter in the long run?
