Hows my cholesterol look?

It seems normal to me? I'm on TRT btw.

I eat a healthy mixed diet of grains/rice and various meets, most of my fats come from eggs and fish oil supp.

Looks good, though it's a bit hard to tell with the goofy ranges. "< 3-4" .... what is that supposed to mean?

Reminds me of ads where they say stuff like "You could make up to $1000 or $2000... or more!"

I was referring less to the units used than to the screwy comparative math construct: "< 3-4". It's ambiguous at best and nonsensical at worst.

Yeh i see what you mean

Im early days into TRT (3 months) and at some point will be looking to add higher T for a cycle.

Is there anything you should watch for with cholesterol? or any sups that aid it? I take fish oil but sometimes forget, and a good multivitamin orange triad.

Well at a ratio of 0.42 HDL to LDL you're in really good shape, you mostly want to watch that ratio. You've got a lot of leeway there, but it would be a shame to spoil those values.

I don't remember what dose you're on or how old you are, but although a lot of guys do the TRT + blast thing, I'm not sure it really makes sense (for me anyway).

Possibly controversial: you will eventually find a limiting factor to your TRT dose: hematocrit, lipids, perceived hair loss, etc.
There is a (dependent on the individual) max dose that you will be able to maintain year after year.
If you are at (or above) this dose, you can't really blast on top of that without incurring negative consequences that could take a long time to reverse. It's different than young guys doing a cycle then taking a complete break to recover.

I know this goes against the "blast and cruise" paradigm, but while that might produce the most dramatic results for BB, I don't think from a TRT health perspective that it's a good approach.

Just my opinion from my own experience.

Thanks, could you talk me through what you mean by limiting factor to my TRT? I'm not trying to get super pyshological trt levels just normal, with the occasional 8 week 'blast' as it were...

Im 22 and have pituitary liaison from a head accident when i was younger, and I'm prescribed 125mg test e once a week. I feel so so much better than previously even though i thought i was doing pretty well...

btw i have never done steroids/cycled before... its just now I'm going to all the effort of injecting test to feel normal, i masewell experiment every now and again with a bit more to see how it effects my gains etc. Its also not planned to be a long term blast/cruise scenario...

Well you're really young, resilient and otherwise healthy, so what applies to me may not apply to you, but...
In my case I started out at a pretty high dose (200mg/week) and have been between that and 160mg/week for the past two years.
I've had to donate blood frequently to keep my hct in check, and apparently in the process have depleted my body's iron stores. That, I believe, has started to cause health issues like heartbeat arrhythmia.
Now my hct is much too high, I'm in danger of no longer being able to donate because of too high hematocrit and/or the irregular heart beat, I can't really afford to lose any more iron, yet I need to do something to bring my hct down.

After 2 years I have to face the fact that the dose I've been on is unsustainably high, much as I like how it's made me look and feel.

Yeh, my feeling was to blast occasionally and otherwise maintain a low TRT dose enough to keep you healthy - mid range, I'm not looking for upper range...

can't get an AI prescribed anyway so too high a dose would only facilitate high oestrogen anyway id imagine
