Like asked , HPTA restart .. is this true or possible ? Does anyone know anyone who this has actually worked for say after they were shutdown for a long time or have very low ng/dl for a long time? Anyone know anyone who has restarted theirs to a descent working amount say with a HCG and clomid protocol ?

yeah i was shut down for almost 2 and a half years and successfully restarted my HPTA. although the numbers weren't exactly ideal, i still restarted my HPTA using the common hcg and clomid protocol

my experience has been, along with many others, is that SERMs like clomid/nolva will restore natty test levels rather significantly, but will drop off back to where they were once you discontinue use. Unfortunately, once you have low natty test levels, that's pretty much it. What is your cycle history?

Well to be honest i havent had any blood work done after cycling due to being in canada and not sure how to go about it .. But i have done a couple test only cycles and a few tren and test cycles

So are you just asking out of an academic interest or is there a personal reason?

i am just personally interested in knowing if a restart is actually possible for someone who has been shutdown for time

Possible, yes. However, I have yet to hear of any long-term success stories from AIH (androgen-induced hypogonadism) folks. The pituitary is a finicky bastard, and doesn't like being told to take a nap.

It's all about how well you can restore gnrh production (hypothalamus released trigger hormone), and if your pituitary still wants to take orders or not. Even then, if you can restore production - it becomes a matter of just how much you're producing, and the response in your testes. As e92 has stated, he was able to bring things back, but was not pleased with the results.

Honestly, it's the ultimate price of admission for cycling AAS. I truly feel that it's just a matter of time before folks are forced into TRT if they cycle long enough. Blasting and cruising just brings that conclusion to fruition sooner.

Is it worth it? Only you can answer that question. I was "lucky" to be on TRT without having to face such a heavy decision, and do not envy those that do.

My .02c :)

So this brings the question what # after discontinuing the restart protocol is considered a successful restart? 400ng/dl ? 500? 600? Or just feeling normal? Everyones answer could be different.

like i said, some guys can feel normal at 500 and some guys need to be higher to feel normal. when i decided to come off after 2 years i was 22. did the whole HCG, then clomid and nolva bullshit. while i was on clomid my test was like 750 which is where a 22 year old should be but that is not an indicator because i was still augmented from the clomid. 5 weeks after stopping the clomid, my total test was 530 which is absolute shit for a guy in his early 20s and i also felt like shit.

tried to get TRT prescribed by a doctor but since those levels are technically normal, no doctor agreed to prescribe me anything they said you're perfectly healthy.

What are you doing now for T levels

good for you, like to hear how you went about it.
