HRT meets TSA

Going on a trip next week and haven't flown since being on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). What is the proper way to take my HRT on the plane? I have test cyp., deca, syringes w/needles. Looking for answers from those who have experience travelling by air with their HRT supplies, not theoretical answers. Thanks

Im not expert but I have flown to Japan with Insulin before. Just make sure you have your Label with Dr.Contact and your RX# I wouldnt try to do carry if you can avoid it and buy TSA locks for your luggage safeskieslocks.com/index.php
Good luck

I flew from mainland USA to HI and had no issues. I had Test Cyp, syringes and a-dex in my luggage. The cyp is from a pharmacy and has all of the prescript information. I had it in my checked luggage and not in a carryon. My wife is diabetic and travels with insulin and needles in her carryon all of the time. Never an issue.

I posted this previously under a couple of different strings, but I just flew to Hawaii and back with Test, Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) and syringes (with prescriptions). I carried it on in a small soft side cooler with Techni-Ice to keep the Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) cold. It was screened 4 times and TSA didn't care.

Have traveled a lot with prescriptions over the years including more recently with t cyp, hgh and appropriate needles. Never have had an issue. Many times I forget I have a bottle of water - I've had them go in the bag with everything else just to get out the water. They always ask if I want to go back out of security and drink it :-).

TSA isn't looking for prescriptions or drugs - they are looking for weapons or things that can be used as weapons or a single liquid container that weighs more than 3 ounces. Or maybe 18g needles! The only problem I have ever run into was with a bottle of advil liquicaps - they thought there was too much fluid in all the liquicaps so asked if I wanted to leave security and ship them or have them throw away. Dumb, but that was 4 or 5 years ago and have never had that happen again and I always carry them with me.

Anyway, here is TSA's link on the subject. I've never declared or said anything - no issues, but if you like to follow the rules, here you go (3 ounces is a lot of liquid - definitely more than a bottle of test).
