I have had hair transplants. Best money I ever spent. I went to Bosley in Dallas $4600 for 600 hair grafts. They pull the hair grafts then count them. I ended up with 900 so I got 300 free. Post surgery pain was manageable. Take finasteride and minoxidil for life afterwards and no further hair loss.
