No worries. I'm just trying to learn. From what I've read it appears people are taking about 50mg ed of DHEA, and 50mg-100mg of Pregnenolone. However, I've read that oral absorption is poor and that transdermal is needed. Is this true?

Am I understanding correctly that using Pregnenolone and DHEA is an alternative to HCG, or do you still need HCG, AND to supplement with pregnenolone and DHEA? As I understand it we use HCG to create pregnenolone, please correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway, any knowledge would be welcomed and appreciated.

HCG and Pregnenolone is thought of as an alternative. My thoughts are that a person should take HCG and let the body make the DHEA and Pregnenolone, PLUS whatever happens in the HPTA pathway. In other words I think a lot more goes on besides DHEA and Pregnenolone production. See the link I have attached. Plus medical knowledge is such that we may not even know how much else is going on in the HPTA pathway. I have not yet started HCG but I'm on DHEA for now until my dhea levels come up to optimal. I may have to reduce the DHEA dose at that time or stop it, depending on my body's ability to produce these with the help of HCG. Now far more wiser guys on here have found HCG to be a pain, so I may have to resort to DHEA and Pregnenolone (and stop HCG). But I think I should try the more natural method of using HCG, That's my opinion and I have been wrong once before in my life. ;-)
