I need a .380 pistol options

Basically i bought a 22/Rugar(new) for my girl and couldnt even shoot the piece of shit. It was jambing up/tried a couple different options of ammo, and the clip isnt going in all the way/staying in. So, now i have to send it in.

I need something for her to carry in her purse. She is a damn good shot too. I got about $300 to spend/and a safety would be good too

Kel-tec ?
Diamond back ?
Taurus ?

Rugar sucks my dick

kel-tec, out of those guns that is the best choice.....i wouldnt get her a .380 bro, at least a 9mm, a .380 will piss most people off unless you put one right in the eye. i understand you dont want her to hurt her wrist, but a 9mm will be just fine. i carry a .45, and i have a .32cal that i keep in my boot when im out, but it is only there in case i get on my back (haha, id like to see the sob that could put me there, but just in case), put that .32 in their mouth and let her rip.....also, the .380 can be a harder caliber to master, as a .45 is. the 9mm on the other had is a very reliable and consistant shooting caliber, but for me a 9mm just isnt big enough, when i pull the trigger i want to see that motherfucker hit the ground, not see him stumble.

P.S.: get her one that shoots a little left, most people when seeing a gun and hearing is discharge will run, and you dont want her shooting you ass before you can get away...lol

also, rugars are good guns, jsut very tempremental. sounds like a chiped extractor or something, prob. something simple. just have it looked at. but kel-tec is a great wepon, but i got to thinking about it and the one that i have is very hard to rack, so you may want to keep that in mind. the slide can be a bitch to rack...

I really like the Sig P238 for a BUG type deal.

expensive though.

the glock is a great gun, but to carry in a purse or something of that nature without a holster, i dont like it. the safe action is great, but if something is able to enter the trigger guard and press the trigger it WILL go off with on in the chamber. now you can throw it down a mountain and run it over with a car and it wont go off, but if you depress the trigger safety and pull the trigger...boom. i carry a glock, i love them, but without a holster, i wouldnt...

9mm is too big for her purse myman... she's a chick. Shes got to much shit in there as it is lol. I dont want it to slow her down/just there if she needed it/not really clunkin around in her purse. I want something about the size above/she got small hands. She's shot 9's and 45's though. Thanks for all the feedback bro

Still looking at this one for myself! Along side the 19 model... and the taurus slim. I just wish i could hold a 26 with a longer clip in it, before i bought it.

Yea, my price just doubled w this one... Ive checked em out before. The safety i like. Looks like more of a shooters gun/being heavier. Do u own one of these/shot one of these?... Whats your feedback shooting one of these little suckers
?
Thanks

^^Landscape, ive got one and really like it. I like how narrow it is, good for low profile concealment. It does shooot nice and is based on a basic platform that is tried and true. I am a sig fan.

The only downside for me is it is real small but I have big hands. would be good for female i think.

I think the glock would be nice as well, they do have thicker grip but it is a great platform. I know some guys who carry it without complaints. Prob will be one of the next I get.

out of the options you gave us i would go with either the kel-tec or the taurus...preferably the taurus

I would probably get a Glock , model 27 ,

All those other guns are the kind you show your friends, a Glock is a gun you show your enemies.

Can you tell who I am an armorer for ?

Put in a New York Trigger spring adjustment. And Carry a Glock, problem solved.

i think smith and wesson makes a 9mm that is almost the exact same size as the keltec .380, maybe 3oz heavier and a half in. overall larger. but it is a little hard to handle (for my ex wife anyway) due to it having such a small grip.

i thought this was a mens forum lol whats with all the glock fan boys????

if we are choosing favorites then Kember makes compact 1911's...THAT is a reliable gun!

Kember... thats shits high dollar/too BIG. When i get some money this would be a good option for her house or something. She's the girl u dont expect to be carrying. Petite, doesnt look like she could handle herself. Then she'll be cussing you out, trying to blow your head off if u tried to follow her out in the parking lot. Glocks are solid bro/for what u pay. What are u hating on? I just hvent bought one yet cause EVERYBODY has one.

**** If u guys have any other suggestions for a .380/or a good cc and not gonna cost me a $1000 feel free to speak up..... ? (once again, to keep in her purse)

I also thought about the micro-dessert eagle?

9mm are too big. Every "Rambo" says .380 is a pussy gun.... But, if u had some crazy bitch unloading the clip on you. I think u would think differently. Plus she would be shooting u in the face and chest. Like i teach her;) I agree if your in a gun fight/different story. Did i already mention this girl is mean!!!

At the gunrange, I have her shoot at the target 40-50 feet away. She can shoot
These guys(usually bigger cal) shooting 10' feet in front of them crack me up. Really?

im not specifically a kember man...just saying they make some compacts in 1911...i prefer colt

1911's are NOT over priced....its just like a gym membership bro...it may be cheaper but take a look inside....all these carbon pistols are obviously cheaper to build, but my 1911 has over 5k rounds through it and never jammed one time...and i love the single action on it.... trigger pull is a big factor when spooked or found in a situation where you need to draw your weapon.... i obviously wouldnt suggest it for your lady but i would choose a 1911 over any other pistol out there...semi auto that is....revolvers are another animal :-)

get er a snub nose!

Oh, and if anybody's shot that Taurus "slim"/feedback from friends haller back... I keep coming back to it.(for myself)

Yea, i havent ruled this out. Im gonna rent her a 38 special or somn-somn next time we go to the range.

"Colt" makes my ass pucker, cause its gonna cost me. I agree u get what u pay for though... short term, something is better than nothing though. Untill i figure out excatly what i want to get her, and have the scratch!

RUGAR
KEMBER

lol wtf you guys cant spell Ruger or Kimber correctly?

anyways ive never shot the LCP but i do carry the LCR and its very light and easy to carry. my other carry is a Springfield EMP (small 1911).

the LCR is a great gun to carry. its a hammerless revolver in 38 special. its also available in 357 mag. 38 special +P hurts like a bitch to shoot but its not meant to be range gun. but thats cause its crazy light. my EMP weighs about 30oz empty i can def feel it on me but the LCR is so light i barely notice it (13 oz empty).

btw if you really dont like Ruger then go with a S&W. also if you get small revolver for your wife i suggest you get a crimson trace grip with it (laser).
