Igf-1

So...I once read something about how IGF-1 LR3 had a lot of really bad side effects people didnt know about...along with the whole thing that it can speed cancer way up, which is enough to keep me away. But..doe anyone else know of any bad side effects?

fatigue , stiffness or ache of hands fingers knuckles, headaches and nausea. atrophy of the gut. possible hypoglycemia.

all these sides very like any other medication/application. however the most common side being the aching in hands it is a side almost everyone faces, which in turn is a good sign of authentic IGF-1,

these are the most common negative side effects associated with the use of igf-1.

I know this doesn't answer your question but I've been doing more research on Anavar (var) and found numeorus studies that showed low dose Oxandrolone increased natural IGF-1 levels and continued to even at 6 and 12 month interval checks.

There are others as well but here's one...

Metabolic and Hormonal Changes of Severely Burned Children Receiving Long-Term Oxandrolone Treatment

Objective:
When given to children for 1 year after a severe burn, oxandrolone significantly improves lean body mass, bone mineral content, and muscle strength. The beneficial effects of oxandrolone on height and weight were observed 1 year after treatment was discontinued. To study the efficacy of oxandrolone in severely burned children for 12 months after burn and 12 months after the drug was discontinued.

Summary Background Data:
Oxandrolone attenuates body catabolism during the acute phase after burn. It is unclear whether oxandrolone would have any beneficial effects during long-term treatment or if there were any effects after the drug was stopped.

(further toward the bottom)
Hormone Panel
Oxandrolone significantly increased serum IGF-1, T3 uptake and FTI (P < 0.05). Insulin-like growth factor-1 was significantly higher at 12 and 18 months (Fig. 6), whereas T3 uptake was significantly higher at 6 months after burn (Fig. 7). Cortisol, insulin, GH, IGFBP-3, and parathyroid hormone were not significantly changed by oxandrolone (Table 2). Testosterone levels were not significantly different between oxandrolone and placebo.

Good shit right there JayC.

After doing some research, I have found that there isnt even proof that igf-1LR3 injected even produces hyperplasmia. What a waste for people buying it.

Ya, I know several who have ran straight IGF and really, got no significant results.. not like Anabolic Androgenic Steroids (AAS) or running GH for extended periods. Personally, right now I'm in the middle of putting research together for using Anavar (var) for cuising or extended periods/cycles. So far, the ONLY negative I can find is the cost! ;) No shit.. I actually found articles where they used it ( Anavar (var) ) on severe alcoholics with liver disease to reverse the liver issues. Plus on children for periods of over a year and not one child have any significant sides to speak of.. at a RESPONSIBLE dose, the stuff is golden and has a HOST of other positives and beniftis.. not to mention the increased IGF levels. :) (disclaimer: this info is not for NEWBIES!!! this type of use is for advanced users only)

well, I remember reading a few places that generally the HPTA shutdown dose tends to be over 15mg+or-/day... so, one could run it at alone at under 15mg/daily I guess but most of what I was putting together was those who run HRT or low-dose test year round so say Tes Cyp 200mg/week and Anavar (var) at 30mg/daily. then say run the Anavar (var) for 6 months on and even a few months off.. Blood tests would be done every 3-6 months of course...

i wonder if that study would be similar for winny

Highly doubt it bro... Winstrol (winny) is just to damn harsh, for most anyway. The shit wreaks havoc on lipids and joints for most users so it would be pointless to use it very long at all.. not to mention the possible liver stress.
Even though Anavar (var) is c17aa, they have found that its mostly metabolized in the kidneys which is why its so much safer on the liver.
Just my educated opinion, but if you can afford it or source it, Anavar (var) is about the only oral thats safe to run for prolonged or extended periods.. plus its just an excellent overall compound for unervisal gains/positive effects on the body.

so, what about 60mg var/day for six months run alongside test???

If it causes a spike in igf...would it be best to take pwo fb carbs and protein?

60mg for that long wouldn't be very liver friendly. I think you would be better off running test year round (I think you are) and then running 6 weeks on 6 weeks off of anavar at ~60mg/day.
