I'm gonna nut up and shoot my test subq tomorrow night. Any advice for a beginner?

I like bananas
I can't stand not knowing if I'll react in the same negative ways 3J and a couple others have when shooting there test subq. Gonna backload the insulin syringe like what was posted the other day. Should I warm up the test cyp and how do I do that? What gauge needle should I get? Thanks for taking the time to read.

I never heated the oil. You can use anywhere from 25-29 gauge. I liked 29 gauge 1/2 inch. Just be sure to inject very slowly.

You should be aware that switching could change your levels that you were used to on IM. It will metabolize at a different rate. Also, things went great for me the first several shots. It wasn't until a month in that I developed nasty lumps and incredible itchiness. Just want you to be prepared that it might not be as great as it initially seems. If you were used to IM I'd think about switching to quads or delts so you could do it yourself easier.

Agreed, lots of IM options. Try the delts with an insulin syringe - I find that completely painless. I also don't bother with backloading.

Wife usually shoots my glutes but she is becoming disruptive lately so I need to do something different.

Have you tried Delts? I fricking love pinning delts, so comfortable pinning them never hit a nerve or draw blood, goes in like butter too no pain at all. I have started on quads, not a fan but I'm going to have to become one. Glutes are next on the list.

Do you use a 1/2" insulin syringe for delts?

Been doing SubQ for 2.5 months and it's about as much of a non-event as it cld be. I use 29g 1/2" pin. I don't heat the oil and the whole thing takes less than 2 mns. No pain, no blood, no nodules, no itching, nothing! Good luck!

Yes, 1/2" 29g. I use the same on my quads too, but I'm fairly lean. Never have felt that I wasn't getting deep enough. On the quads I probably dimple the skin layer a little to get proper depth in the muscle.

I go with 1 inch 25 gauge for the delts. For everything actually.

This is what I use for delts and quads, will also be using 25G for glutes but 1.5" instead of 1". It is literally painless for me to do in delts, I recommend it as the first timer spot as well.

Not gonna lie, the thought of getting the job done with a 29ga 1/2" insulin pin is very attractive. I have a hard time believing that anything longer than 1/2" depth is needed anywhere on your body no matter how much fat you have. Subq is Subq whether its your stomach or your forehead, no?

But still wondering why you are stopping the IM injections. Do you not self-inject? Quads, delts and quads are all good places for self IM injections.

In case it wasn't clear, I'm doing IM with 29ga 1/2", and I'm sure others are as well.

I do all my TRT injects sub-q, 29 gauge, 1/2 inch. Backload and shoot. Virtually painless and easy. I don't like . 5cc in an area, I usually do two .3's or so, quick and easy, no bumps.

My blood work shows a lower E2 level doing sub-q, which is something I need. But your results may vary.

Agreed mate! Delts are the best!
